i think i have a few chillies knocking about in my fridge, a bit dried out but i can hang them somewhere im sure.

Stick a bit of tinsel on them and they'll be fine.........we can get away with murder and bad taste at Christmas.

conservatory. i dont feel hard done by. apart from the fact that a certain someone took my money and got offended when i insisted on her honouring her written agreement to pay it back in 6 months 2 years ago and that would have paid for it.

a conservatory would be a place to be when the cold autumn/winter/spring sun is out, to warm through this cold body because my house is so cold.

i'll settle for a pepper tree.

Afternoon army. I would love a conservatory too it would give me extra space in my small house and a nice chill out area but outof my budget so it can remain a dream for now. Feeling tired and a bit lazy and don't know wheter to go to Pennys in Dun Laoghaire and change my leggings I bough Friday for bigger size or leave till tomorrow again. Was to go yesterday but went to the library instead on the bus lol no car here so well used to public transport. Need to have a shower and my washing looks dry so better get. Have a super Sunday i'll be back later

Good afternoon hope you remember me! Got called over to Dubai for babysitting and spent time in the sun for weeks having a lovely time with the kids:happy2:
Been back a bit now and just been reading the latest posts-- Christmas is a stressful time but as I have had no time to think about it I just need to hit the shops tomorrow.
One thing that really resonated with me was the post from Roxanne explaining how hard it is to bare her soul on a pubic forum. I find it hard too.

Welcome back mrs A and lucky you having some time in a sunny climate but as you said you were there for baby sitting i'm sure you your hands full at times but sun is always good when you to return to the coldd uk. Good to hear all is well and you are still running and have kept sober for so long. I find it hard to bear my soul in public also and not great at reaching out for help but have to try harder for the sake of staying sober but so far i'm doing ok and not low or struggling much but that can change any time. Thanks Jackie for the pm i'll give that a try and i'll to read it again the oul brain isn't what it used to be for taking in instrutions or spelling lol:egad:. Off to have a shower and brave the bus to Dun Laoghaire otherwise i'll laze around all day. Laters.

Off to a Christmas do tonight and went to a running club one on Friday evening. I am very pleased to notice how few of my younger friends drink. But amazed that some of the gang make a glass of wine last all night. That is how I know I am defo an alcoholic as I could never have just one!

I see that too sometimes - the one glass - nope that would just piss me off. Do not see the point of one. If what they tell us -this takes superhuman strength to stick to one - that alcohol is a drug and by nature you want more:headscratch:
I got to the stage I always wanted MORE- so I suppose that's why I went 'underground' and started drinking at home.
Having said that very few around me that drink just one glass either but I have spotted them on my travels:harhar:
