i shoveled it into a tupperware.
i have 3 eggs. i begrudge paying for them since having hens back in the day. you'd think living in the country i could get them locally but they have them for sale outside houses on blind bends or hills or double yellows or with no pavements.

Off out to my Chrissie do. Much drink at this one so will be dead boring as people do talk rubbish when drinking ( of course I never did)

Hi all,
Hope everyone is good.
Happy to report I m heading for 6 months sober , hopefully on Christmas Day.
Kept on relapsing so decided to try AA, and to date, it is working. On average , going to 3 x1 hr meetings a week and have met some nice people there.
Starting a 12 week stint doing secretary which I hope will add to my chances of staying sober.
Survived the Xmas party last night also.
A Little anxious this time of year with booze everywhere but taking it easy , ODAAT .
I ll go back now and catch up , until then , I hope you are all doing well.
I ll always be grateful to this site and its members.
Ps. If any of the Dubs here (Molls, Satz, Foxy, KTAB and anyone else) are free on Thursday nights and can venture to Palmerstown , I would love to see you at a meeting if you fancied it.
Take care all

Evening army nice kitchen Mick and its coming along well by the looks of things. Badly need a new one myself but no funds for one for now. Well done Damo on coming up to 6 months. Kept relapsing also so i'm back to AA meetings too and try get at least 2 in a week will increase that from next week. I think this will be my first sober xmas in many years so need the help of this site you guys here and AA. for me one drink is too much and several more is not enough so don't take the first drink. I drank to get pissed as well and even if the wine or whatever didn't taste so good after a few it didn't matter once the buzz started. Went to Dun Laoghaire and the town wasn't busy like it used to be at this time of year. It has lost business to the like of Dundrum and other larger shopping malls as a lot of places closed down due to high rents and lack of parking spaces so the town has become a bit dead. Even the cafes bars etc that I passed were not so busy either. Bray it seems is the same tho the Main street there is dismal but does have a fewxcgood shops in the town. Very cold out again feels like snow could be on the way. Roxy you did very well reaching almost 8 months without the help of AA or antibuse I need the help of those to help me stay sober but the antibuse won't be long term but AA I tend to stick with for long term odat.Last edited by Guest; December 7, 2014, 02:57 PM.
