    Hello steppers!!! :happy2:

A very belated Happy New Year to you all. :happy2:

I have done my best to read back and catch up on everyone's news, but you guys have so much going on in your lives that it is not at all easy to keep track of everything!

Beloved mrs bear, I think you have done really well to cope with the adjustment to your medication over the past few weeks and you should be extremely proud of yourself. I am so pleased that you got a clean bill of health yesterday. It sounds as though you have a very sympathetic and understanding doctor which is priceless, it makes such a difference when you can talk openly and honestly to your doc and tell her everything. Sorry hubs is not being quite so understanding. Thank you for keeping us posted about nursie, I am glad she is bearing up reasonably well under the chemotherapy.

Dots, it sounds to me as though the folks at church may possibly be relying too heavily on your efforts and goodwill at times. Perhaps you show too much commitment to the cause? Be careful not to create a rod for your own back through your efforts, it is easily done.

Pauly, I hope you are feeling a bit better now and also managing to adjust to bobbi having gone back to Portland again.

Nora, sorry about the cold, be sure to take time off work to look after yourself properly. What kind of audit will you be having at work? Did you get to visit your FIL at the weekend? How was he?

Liz, I am glad you are sorting things out with your sister. It is probably better in the long run that she knows about your struggles with drink and perhaps she will become more understanding over time. Sorry you are not well, there seems to be a lot of sickness around at the moment.

Niner, I agree with the others about mike, you made the right decision in asking him to leave and you did well to act so quickly. Best of luck with sorting out your lease and moving to the new place.

Kradle, well done on making it to day 8, how is it going now?

Sunny, if you happen to check in, what did the doc say about the naltrexone?

Rusty, good luck with your doctor and dentist appointments. Did you ever live in Ireland or do you just have Irish ancestry?

Hi to FT, narilly, NS, skendall, and foxy.

Well, I hope everyone had a good Christmas and New Year. My tree is still up and looking remarkably fresh, but it will come down in a day or two as it takes up rather a lot of space in this small house.

Pauly and dots, if either of you would like an extra fitbit friend, feel free to PM me. I am not doing many steps at the moment on account of a groin injury I picked up a few weeks ago (no jokes please). It is being too slow to heal, so I have ordered a heat pad from Amazon to try and speed things up a bit. Other than that, all is well in my world.

Mama, is 'tucky back at work today? I can't believe how she behaved yesterday!

Have a happy hump day everyone. :happy2:

A very chatty bunch indeed, beloved mrs bear. :happy2: That is an impressively long write up for 'tucky, it will be interesting to see how she behaves when she comes back tomorrow.

I am glad you cleared up the husband thing niner, mama was not the only one who was confused! :egad:

Glad to have you as a fitbit friend dots. They do make boots for doggies, in fact they also make suspenders to keep the boots in place on their paws...:nutso:

Hey all - I'm just skimming....just sent my son off to to buy me lunch. LMAO You know - poor Mommy is sick, blah, blah, blah.

Mama - you are amazing! Getting off med is HARD!!!! I want to kick your hubby in the head (but, my hubby has the same mentality about just getting off the meds - aaarrrrgggghhhhh!!)

I'm not horribly sick - just have a little cold but I do have a temp about 99.5 to 100.2 so I laid low again today. We are having an AS9100/IS91001 audit (Quality Management for the Aerospace Industry). Very expensive, detailed audit that we must pass to continue doing business in this industry. It is important but I don't think that I'm that contagious. But, since I did have a fever I stayed home again today. I've read a couple of books, going to eat my lunch and maybe nap a bit.

                            Great to see everyone here!!!!!

Dots - my GF bought little boots for her dog but the dog can't stand them. LOL

Yeah, I tried the dog boot thing too...didn't work out so well. LOL

Maybe you can just hold her over a bush and she'll pee? lol

Nora I was in quality for an aerospace contractor for years and was involved in those types of audits and was an auditor myself. I miss those days..I loved quality because I could always find something that was a miss...good luck!
