Gym was good for me but hubbs had some pain in his right side. He has been having this off and on for a few months. Called our doc and we went right over. Doc things it is an inguinal hernia. We now need to see a surgeon. BOOHISS
This will slow him down for about 6 weeks if they do surgery and I will push for laparoscopic so down time is less.
Always something....BOOHISS!!

Crap Dots. Hubs had hernia surgery last year, I think. he was not a happy camper. I am so sorry. Maybe the "sort of" checkers did it, you wild woman!
I have not even bothered with Peter Rabbit the last few nights, as I have been so concerned about Nana. Hubs is up there again tonight. It is so comforting to know he will take care of me like this if ever needed.
Nothing much else to report. Off to Netflix and chicken noodle soup. NO DRINKING!

Nora, sorry you are so busy. These past two days have been long and busy at work for me too. No time to drink or even think to drink.

So I got the day off tomorrow. Ann is still out with the flu. One of the techs wants to cover me tomorrow, because she doesn't like the room she is working in this week. Works for me.
Worked 11 hours again today. So ready for bed.

Dottie- so sorry about dh's situation.

Mama- thanks for all the updates on Nana. Glad you like the "C" batteries I sent you. I knew the AAAs would be wayyyy too small for your "appliance." LOL

Mama, rusty, oh my! So what do you do mama with Tucky out? How can they keep doing this? Doesnt HR document these absences? I really like Ann and she works hard when she's there, but darn it I'm tired. My boss will speak to her when she returns.
I'm home today and slept until 8:30. Yay! Cjs birthday is coming up (valentines day), so I will go shopping and try to find something for her. Maybe for me too?
Dottie is that a same day surgery or will he be in dthe hospital for a few days? Do you even know yet? If it were my hubs I'd be flipping out.

Hi Everyone!
Mama - How is Nana today? Hope she's starting to recover, it's sad to see our aging loved ones. My sister and I were just saying that about our parents...we so prefer that they are NOT at our yard sales, they just make it difficult, my dad wants to inspect everything everyone is buying. LOL
Well I went to sleep at 7:30 last night, party animal that I am! Clark stayed up until like 4:00am watching TV, I finally went out there and told him to go the hell to bed. I don't like it when the house is not completely shut down. But then of course I only had 2 hours left to sleep anyway. He really does need a job and a schedule!
I didn't bring my lunch today so I am thinking a nice big burrito from the meat market next door...yum.
Pauly - How are you feeling today?
Liz - That's so nice of you to keep Mama supplied with batteries, we don't want the energizer bunny to lose any steam do we Mama? LOL
Dots - Hope hubby gets some answers. Are you going to tell the doctor that you gave him a checkers workout and that's how he got injured? j/k
Can't believe 'Tucky called in AGAIN today Mama. I am off tomorrow, so I've had a "tough" 3 day week. Whew! LOL

Hubs just called and said Nana told him she is ready to die.......:sad:
She has a bladder infection and an infection where her IV is and the gas is killing her. She can no longer walk on her own and Bret called the doctor. The doc said she had "had a run of bad luck". We don't know what to think, but the boys are spending the day with her tomorrow. Hopefully that will lift her spirits.
I want to go home and cry but cannot.
I would love a big burrito...yum
batteries are not even on my mind right now......but they will be at some point
