So I left my iPad at work yesterday, sorry I did not check in. Mark is doing well. The doctor called me today and said he has esosinophilic esophagitis, classic case. He is still sore from the dilatation but is feeling better every day. Eating for him is noticably better. We had no idea, he didn't either. He thought it was normal to "feel" the food go down. Feeling like the worlds worst mother right now. He is 6foot tall and weighs 123 lbs. probably had this for years and that why he is slow to gain weight. Anyway on the road to recovery. Have a good night my loves, off to spend the night with a few girlfriends, drinking tea, chatting and eating chocolate.

Back from shopping and the home improvement show. Lots of cool things that cost a lot of money so not right now for sure.
I have been using Spark people for a long time but have avoided using the food list...hhhhmmmm avoiding the truth for sure. I have my fitness pal too but it doesn't have my exercise list and I would have to list each exercise I do....and I dont even know what to call some of them that the trainer has us do...Spark people tracks time and it is free too...and my fitbit will sync with either one to count steps.
Tired and in for the evening......zzzzzzzz

Ugh,tired as heck! Up early for the blood work, picked Brady up early cuz it's testing week at school, on the phone with California tax board cuz they're whining about taxes from 2006,went to h&r block, they don't have records, went to the place we switched to,they don't have a record that far back, hafta go to the IRS building, grr, went to 99 cents store, decorated for v-day,made chocolate chip cookies, picked up pictures from walgreens, drove Louie around for half an hour to get him to nap, cooked dinner, Louie woke up a crab, counted the minutes til Kell got home, kicked them out and whew,I'm going to bed and it's 7 pm!this is SUPPOSED to be my day OFF,think I would've rather worked haha, good nite peepsI have too much shit to do today and tomorrow to drink:sohappy:
I'm taking care of the "tomorrow me"
Drinkin won't help a damn thing! Will only make me sick for DAYS and that ugly, spacey dumb feeling-no thanks!

Good Morning, Friends!
Mama-hope you slept well and that Nana is feeling better.
Liz-so glad the docs were able to determine what caused your son to not be able to gain weight. I am happy for you and for him! You must be so relieved. Hope you had a fun night out with your lady friends.
Pauly-Wow-I'm embarrassed to say I don't think I would have been as organized as you were to accomplish all those tasks yesterday, AND try and sort out your tax situation. Ugh. What a hassle. Sorry you were dealing with that. I chuckled when you said you took Louie out for a car ride to get him to take a nap. My mom used to do that with my nieces and nephews. Worked like a charm...and then they woke up. LOL
Dottie-You must have the patience of a saint to not choke dh for not taking your dog out and then peeing on the floor. Please send some of your patience my way...I need it. ;-) It look me a little bit to navigate MFP. I would ask your trainer what the names are of your specific exercises, and an estimated amount of calories they burn with the reps that you do, and I am quite sure they would already be in the MFP database. You could create a list of your Favorite exercises and cardio and that way, you just click on them every day and you don't have to re-enter all that information again. I have found MFP really easy to do. Much better than Weight Watchers. Off my soapbox. Hahah
K9-I hope you make tons of $$$$ with your rummage sale. It must be cathartic for you as well, getting rid of some sad memories, maybe just a little bit?
Today's activities include haircut and color, church, workout and eating. LOL.
I'll be back later. :-)

Good morning!
Dottie what were you looking for at the home show? We are thinking of giving the kitchen a face lift. New floor and counter tops as mine are starting to crack. We've done it one before and it's a huge undertaking. I love my kitchen, but I guess I use it so much I wore it out. Yeah that's it!
Mama, how is nana?
K9 good luck with the garage sale. We had one in the fall and it rained the whole weekend. Made a pretty decent amount of money. Promptly went out and bought myself a new pair of boots!
Rusty, I must say, you are so sweet! I love reading your posts.
Nora, how's it going by you?
Mark says it's getting easier to swallow those pills! He is still sore, but now it's only when he burps. When he reaches 150 lbs I will post a picture! On the bright side I lost a few pounds this week because of the stress.
Check in later

So, hubby & I are doing a 52 week money challenge. I think I mentioned it before. At the end of the year, we should each have $1378.00. He was talking about buying guitar speakers and I mentioned that I wanted to buy a flat screen TV. You know....just talking.....so, now he's talking about then we have to get this and that to go with the new TV. Damn it....why did I mention anything? :victorious:
Hubs went to the Dr yesterday and they have referred him to a pain clinic again. I just hope that they are not pushing the narcotics again!"Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me.".....Carol Burnett

Nora, I like your 52-week money challenge. You've inspired me to do it, too!! I hope your dh's husband is not pushing pills either. Does your dh get addicted to them. I took prescription pain pills for just a couple of weeks once, but they made me so, um..."bound up" that I quit taking them. I can't imagine being addicted to pain pills if that's the effect they have, but AL I get!
Pauly-I guess the cat didn't mean a whole lot to your neighbors! I don't think you're being too sensitive. I hope your dh's doc is not pushing pills again, too!Last edited by Rusty; January 17, 2015, 06:18 PM.
