Off to the gym alone...boohiss hubbs will be out until March double boohiss grocery after the gym, they are predicting a lot of snow on Sunday. Winter BOOHISS!!!
Laundry is calling my name and so that is my fun activity for a Friday night....

Hey everyone....

Sorry that I have been missing. I haven't even read back yet. I did start yoga this week with hubby and a good friend of mine. Tuesday & Thursday nights.

Driving up North to see my FIL tomorrow then back home on Sunday. About a 6-7 hour drive each way. Times like this, I really wish that my hubby could drive.

Dots, I'm sure hubs surgery will be fine. Years and years ago my sister and her (then) husband were finally getting to take a vacation away from their three kids, they were on their way to Las Vegas, and she got a hernia, or it acted up or something, long story short (too late) they didn't get to take their vacation, she had the surgery and recovered quick, I think it's a pretty easy procedure these days...so he will be fine! Sorry about the winter weather, guess I shouldn't mention it's 74 here today? Boohiss on me. LOL

Mama - Sorry about Aunt Joyce, I'm sure it will be okay, you've been through it, my mom went through it...sending you love! How was that cabbage? Are there new episodes of Scandal on Netflix yet? I think I'm all caught up. Now waiting for Sons of Anarchy's last season....

So update on Clark. Last night I asked him to leave. Wednesday night (and yes, I am going to confess) we had a few drinks, or I had a few, he apparently was sneaking more than I thought. He got super drunk and he's a complete asshole when he's drunk. He goes from sober to asshole with no in-between. Anyway, to make another long story short (again), I can't deal with that. I have too much on my plate with an upcoming move and yard sales and packing and all that crap, I don't need to babysit anyone. He was just SUCH an ass. So last night when I got home from work I told him he had to go. I dropped him off at his friends house, we didnt speak the whole way, and that was that. He has no recollection of the other night. Plus, he's not working, has no car, no phone, no money....I am not going to be taken advantage of. Funny part is, I was SO HAPPY to be home alone last night. Guess we'll see what happens, but that's how it stands for now. Sorry to ramble on.......

GRRR----just had a lonnnng post and then lost it. I am on-site working today with a client and I have a long drive home tonight so I will be breathtakingly brief today.

Nora-I don't envy you the long drive to see your FIL. Ugh, I hate being in a car that long!

Dottie-wow, dh is going to be out of commission until March????? Does he have other health issues and that's why the doc is thinking the recovery won't be quick like Mama Bear's husband?

Mama-glad you liked your facial and you are now smooth-shaven. ;-0 ) Hope you are not coming down with a cold.

Yep, you called it Rusty! I guess under all my bitchiness I have a soft heart for the fixer-uppers. LOL BUT...I made that mistake years ago and it took me 7 years to give the old heave-ho....guess I'm learning a thing or two in my old age! No leeches or hangers-on in my life anymore!!! Well, ok I guess my dogs can use me. HA

Rusty dh is 76 and the restriction is on heavy lifting. Doc said 3 weeks but the surgery inst scheduled until 3 weeks from now. We could have done it sooner but we have a wedding to go to and it is at a fancy hotel and I want to go so that is where March came from. I married a much older fellow. Which is good and bad sometimes. This is another reason I have been wanting him to exercise. He doesn't take any meds now and is in good health overall.

Laundry is churning....so much fun I can hardly stand it.
Grocery shopping is done and I must admit that the wine isle was calling my name so I walked around it....have a leadership seminar at church at o'dark 8am tomorrow so I had that in my mind. I hate when this happens out of the blue....damn..
