Got it now...........I've seen Bess act like that after we've left her when we've been on holiday..............she goes all shy and takes a while to get back to the barking, bum shuffling, settee hogging, duvet pinching, biscuit scrounging normal Bess she is.

Morning Army - and Ragstar!

Yes, the Army has been quiet lately, and the Undies ominously so. Sounds like lots of introspection, moving on there. Not a bad thing necessarily, but I suppose the few still posting do feel abandoned. But tell me, what have you been up to?

The wind is still blowing. I really thought it would have tired itself out by now and gone for a nice long sleep.

Will be on my donkey cart later to brave the trek to the next town - have some business to do there that I can't do here. And lots of shopping planned - nice shopping, not food and cleaning stuff - if my patience holds.

YAAAAWN! Morning dreamy, rags and molses

Took myself off to bed early last night with a sore tum. I think i've been eating too much..lunch yesterday was 3 cheese and mustard rolls, a packet of crisps, a pork pie, strawberry trifle and a fruit salad. And a pint of milk.

Minus 6 this morning..gonna be nippy on the bike but it's been dry so no ice..

Maybe we should try active recruitment to busy the army up...hanging around off licenses etc...though I do like a quiet life!
