The excrutiating shame when I woke up...took me a good twenty minutes to shake that off...

Hello Molly , JC and the army,
Thanks for your kind thoughts and words.
And a Hi there to Satzy. Know how you feel about getting energy to exercise.
JC, so sorry to hear about your friend. Hope all goes well with the hysto.
And just so you don't feel all alone, after years of trying to save this tooth,
Mr Rags fitted this a few weeks ago. An implant and another bridge two other teeth to follow this year.

Sunny day here. Have been painting a statue of St Francis I've had for ages. I've decided to brighten him up a bit so I've made him a cardinal with a red cincture, a funky blue cassock, and wondering if I should give him a bright red zuchetto as well..... pic to follow tomorrow.
Now that's sad, that the above is a highlight of my day!
Roxy, I can really associate with you and your isolation.
That is one reason I have been so (and probably too) dependant on the friendship in MWO,
and why I'm pretty disappointed that the Undies has all but disappeared without a by your leave.
I've been able to find a green grocer who stocks (occasionally) green mangoes.
For years I've been telling Mr. Rags how wonderful it is, but he can't eat it as it usually contains heaps of coriander.
I make it with mint instead and have some coriander on the side for me.
So, tonight is chicken and green mango salad, while they're still in season..... The mangoes that is...
And on a funny note, I have attached this to our Weber BBQ.......

Okie, I have to shower and get to the doctor to see what he has to say about my foot.
See ewes soon.

Morning Comrades! What's a leaba? I'm guessing it's a conservatory? (prepares to be ridiculed)
Off to doc's this morning to see about Campral, then into work till late...this evening I'm doing a talk to a youth focus group about self-harm (hopefully they'll be doing a lot of the talking) which will be good to feed back to schools.

Good morning everyone.
Fascinating link re relapse prevention Jackie (been reading back) Sorry about your tooth and also about your friend with Ovarian cancer.
I understand what Roxy feels about this being a public forum and anyone and everyone could read about us. Having said(written) that I am so grateful for the help, kindness and support I have received here. Also the hospitality from Jackie and Molly!
Loved Wolf Hall as good as the book I think
Good luck Shambles with the Doctor!

Morning Army! Nice to see you, too, Anon-a-whizz and Ragstar and Mickstar.
Shams, even before I first invited myself into the barracks, I realised I would have to pal up with Uncle Google. Wait till Molly has her gruach or something done - too lazy to google spelling, but has to do with walking into a place old and haggard and with a badger stripe and walking out with new hair.
Mick, snap on the warning to Shams re his avatart. There's some left-over curry if you're interested - just wash the saucepan afterwards, please and thanks.
Hugs JC - both for you and your friend.
Beautiful day here: hot, sunny, blue skies, and, best of all, WINDLESS!!14 October 2013 was the first day of the best days of my life!

Prescription got for Campral. Also have a course of antibiotics and a referral to the plastic surgeon for a cyst on my cheek that has gone nasty...my body is really complaining about being alcohol free I think!Ach...it will have to get used to it!
Mick and Dreamy...I am the mode of professionalism and respectability at work. Many schools here are twitchy about openly discussing self-harm with kids..a big part of my job is training and educating them. I'm hoping I can ask one of the group to join me on some training.
Have a good day all.
