Hey Nora!!
My brain is really jumbled today....too much going on to process, I suppose. But it's all good....I love my family more than alcohol.:h

Dottie, I received your PM. Thanks! :-) I know you were lucky to have such a loving and handsome man as your husband and best friend, and he was lucky, too, because he chose you. He chose an incredibly unselfish and kind soul, with quiet beauty and conspicuous intelligence, yet not afraid to seek new adventures like dancing and weightlifting. You were single and childless, and it takes a woman of unmitigated patience to accept and welcome stepchildren, despite their thoughtless behavior that would upend someone of lesser tolerance. Although you say he put up with your drinking, you say he was clueless to it. Be glad for that..the last year and a halfof his life you were sober, and I am sure he noticed and he was very proud...and maybe he didn't perceive it as such, but I know how happy you were so he no doubt could feel that positive energy.Last edited by Rusty; February 26, 2015, 12:50 PM.

Dottie, I was talking to my older sister this morning(yes they are still checking on me!). I was telling her how close we have become on this site. She felt better about my quit. We are family here and we help each other out. Right now it is all about you. We are here and want to help you. Please don't ever doubt that. Has the family arrived yet? Are they staying with you? Please continue to talk to us.
Mama I am doing just fine. Felt a little tugging yesterday and today to get a bottle of wine, but so far so good. Spoke to my doctor at work yesterday and he is very supportive. I work with him and see him often. Weird sometimes but I feel accountable.
Pauly I need a trim too! Ill be right over, if you can sequezze me in. Enjoy celebrating you sons birthday. They grow up so quick.
Rusty excellent post.
