Congratulations its one year AF for Scottish Lass

Its Feb 21 where I live and I know its still the 20th where Scottish Lass lives but I want to shout out a big congratulations to her - one year sober. It aint always been easy but she has really worked hard at this and made a terrific effort.
So congratulations to a lovely person on this - and also SL, your daughters must be so proud of you.

Without sl s booze tax we’re in a bit of a jam,

Now she quit drinking shes increased her health.

Despite all the struggling, you made it through,
A life changing moment for not only you.
Coping with teenagers, at a never ending pace,
Could you have done it? ..Smashed off your face

I know you’re still troubled every now and then,
The wee voice that says.”you need a quick drink again,”
And then it all starts the pain and the strife...
Errm no thank you booze man get outta my life..

So many congrats on these 12 months gone,
We gave you support, but you did it alone,

There have been times this past year when the quick trip to oblivion was tempting for you but you had it in you to take the longer view. That means you've done the rewiring we all need to do!
