Neither can we Angel!! It is a month today, and I've promised myself that when I get up in the morning I'll go into uber-organisation mode and drop 10 kg overnight :-)

Our living space is gradually being filled with stuff that is being recycled as decorations for the hall. Thankfully, one of my nephews is getting married in a couple of months time in NZ and we are going to send everything that we have got off free-cycle and Gumtree across to them after we have finished!!

My new SIL from North Carolina in the US has been amazing at providing great ideas for recycling and decorations ........ I'm in the process of covering old yoghurt pottles and jars with gift wrap and tissue to put flowers and greenery into on the day :-)

We are gradually getting everything organised, and have family and friends coming to stay most in AirBNB places that are close to where we live. So it should be lots of fun, and we are just taking everything one decision at a time. There is no bridal party, no seating plan, no party favours, no Photo Booth ....... and not even a dress. Just our nearest and dearest; a beautiful outfit that Angel is making for me, and a beautiful shirt that she is making for Mr B; and a couple of hand-crafted Lego figures that will sit on top of the cake :-)

Missy, me and Jonesy will be arriving the night before. We're staying at the fabled Rex hotel up the X for old times sake and to spice things up a bit. I think Brynny Edelston is lending Bridge a dress for the occasion.

      I am excitement!

G, you might be more comfortable with my mate Duncan, up at the Town and Country, which is just up the road. They have regular jam sessions on a Sunday afternoon and the atmosphere is great!!! :-)

          Happy for you Missy.

What has happened to the Undies friendships I
          thought I'd made?
It is so hard for me to make friends, and I really thought I'd forged some here.

Thanks Techie, Glassy and Mr G.
I know Aspy is out there too.

Glassy, I fly up on 13 May.
Mr Rags is flying up for the weekend on the Thursday evening.
We're going to dinner at Esquire on the Friday night and having lunch with my friends from Oxenford on Saturday,
other than that, no real plans.
I suggested to Aspy that maybe we could have a lunchtime BBQ where I'm staying, maybe the following Saturday.
What do you reckon? Or we can meet some time during the week.
Happs, I'd love you to join us, and likewise, we could meet some time during the week.

Mr G., when I am next in Melbourne, we shall have a slap up lunch somewhere.

                            It's the Aussie way, mate.
And when I eventually get to your neck of the woods I'll slap you around a lunch too.

I had the privilege of being at an event today where the MC was the guy that wrote "I have a black dog". He was fab, and reported that the book has been translated into a whole heap of other languages - he's off to a launch in Iceland next week!!!
