I'm here Techie!! But I think our thread has reached its natural demise. It happens!! I will be forever grateful for the people I have met through it though, in my journey through this particular lifetime :-)Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Hey all. Anzac Day dawn service done. The Lamp is taking me to Byron Bay for the night. I haven't read back except to see that Missy's wedding plans are coming along nicely.
Had my first annual check yesterday, a year to the day I was diagnosed. Happy to report all clear. Phew, such a relief! I had all sorts of stuff/plans going through my head. Now I'm planning to keep living. :-)

The way you dealt with it was inspirational and I still look up your thread when I hear of someone going through the same thing

any way Undies im sad ....my question ...HOW do you detach from people you bonded with so much AND have never met ..i have to do it ,,christ all of you are constantly in my thoughts ,,its driving me crazy ..any way i hope ya caprice!!!
The same is happening in the Army.
I do believe that with a bit of effort from everyone we could get back to where we were.
But if people get lazy and just read and post only occasionally then it cannot survive.
I also believe that since the switch to this new site - new people are not joining and it was the mix of new & old that made MWO a success.
The oldies get bored with no new blood to shake things up and share their experience with - which is what the site is all about .
RJ should look at that - what does the entry page look like ? Is it asking them to subscribe before posting ?
