its improved. whatever happened the other day has eased. i couldnt bring my teeth together physically. where they did touch they felt in the wrong place. painful too, but the inflammation has gone down.

put the bag somewhere subtle but where people can see it as they walk through the door. if they mention it you can say 'oh that, i shop there regularly' in a casual manner.

Funnily enough we're off to Home Base for a bit of sandpaper and paint and stuff.

I'll be back with tea and biscuits for the workers later.

see if you can pick up any tips on how to not get a wobbly line along the edges.

Masking tape - but just make to really press it down against the surface, otherwise the paint bleeds in. but I'm sure you know that. Useless on wall with a texture - but maybe the more plasticky masking tape is better? I've only ever seen papery masking tape here.

What book, Molly? (I think you're like me, though - depends on where I am: loo, bedroom, lounge.)

An hour at Home Base..........an hour to choose between Moonlight or Soothing White................an hour............they are both whitish.

theres creamy white and bluey white. like theres greenish black and purlpey black. we had bluey white tiles with walls painted creamy white. only realised when they were put together. thought white was white. not a good look.

masking tape, ive used miles of it. problem is where i have to freehand, the surfaces are not smooth. i must try not to be a perfectionist as i cant live up to it and leads to disappointment.

Luckily at Home Base there's only one choice............Black Magic but we could have it in matt or silk.

no slate black? charcoal black? theyre slacking.

We'd still have spent several centuries deciding between matt and silk.

We could have gone for Pinks & Purples.................there are 14 shades starting at Ballet...............through Feather Boa and ending up at Plum
