just had a phone call from the hospital. my appointment has been cancelled. it has been referred back to the hospital i had changed it from. so, i start the waiting all. over. again. if i had not changed the hospital, i would be seeing someone on monday. 6 months after asking to see them. whats the fucking point in being proactive. i may as well sit with my finger up my arse for all the good it does me.

Rox, it's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of! Did they give any reasons? Could you not contact somebody - somebody higher up in the hierarchy, or even your MP - and make a big noise about it?

Morning army lovely Spring day here. Ahh sorry about your appointment Roxy that's the pits. I have pyrancta at my back wall and I dread pruning it back i'm sorry I got it put there in the first place. I have some bedding plants to put in containers later and the grass is starting to grow so lots of bloody garden work to keep up with till early Autumn. The cats love the big back garden and the grass but they don't mow itray:

I thought I wanted Universal health care here in the US but reading your posts, Rox and Molly, are making me rethink... I'm sorry you're not getting more prompt attention to acute problems. It's a reminder of how we all need to be our own primary care doctors and keep ourselves as healthy as we can so we don't need outside help. On the other hand, it is crazy that primary care isn't immediately available when you need it, like you guys do right now. I hope you catch a break and get in sooner.

Rox can you not just present at A&E and tell them you can't open your jaw or eat ?

I did get agitated fuckitall, but I'm ok now. A&E would send me away telling me to get a referral. Dentist the same, they don't refer. I can eat satz, I had a problem last week when something flared up but it's settled again. I can open my mouth about an inch so I wont starve. I'll live it's just so frustrating as I've squeaky wheeled my way through this since September and got nowhere.

Anyway, is joe better? Did he go to the doctor?
