Good evening all, lovely to read this forum and thread is going strong, and helping so many get well.
Although I havent been around in a while, I ll never forget the support I received from so many on this thread. You know who you are.
Happy to report I am a grateful alcoholic today. And was 9 months AF on 25th March.
I still go to regular AA meetings, about 3 per week and it has kept me sober today.
I am doing the steps that AA suggests, and getting amazing help from my sponsor.
MWO got me started and AA has kept it going.
Take care my lovely people, I think about you often.

my mum got baptized and confirmed a week before she got married -- mixed marriages in those days in Ireland were MOST unusual!!!

I'm a complete aetheist --- but there's 'something' about the rituals at easter and christmas that I find attractive -- and I LOVE the HISTORY of religion --- fascinating....

I watched the Passion of the Christ - the Mel Gibson one - last year - subtitled I remember but excellent.
