Evening was a lovely day here but its gotten bit cool now and dull. Sat outside a coffee shop in Bray in a lovely heat trap felt like Spring at last. Went to the meeting and Aldi after. Got an a chocolate Easter bunny and a small bag of choc eggs. Had about 4 of the mini eggs. Not in the mood for dinner so may do something later. Had hummus on toast when I got back about 4pm.

I haven't watched Emmerdale in years but I caught some of the storyline this utv's good morning when the actress was a guest. I was at Ardgillion castle once and its lovely. yeah sorry, as soon as i wrote that i thought 'eejit' as you had said they were doing it well. they sort of tried with lauren in east enders but that was rapid. quick detox and all done. she did have a relapse for one night about a year later but thats it, storyline no longer needed.Comment

So do I..............one thing though is I tend to use it when I get really bad news...........like when my Gran died. I suppose its just a hiding mechanism only lasts a couple of days. Good evening all, lovely to read this forum and thread is going strong, and helping so many get well.
Although I havent been around in a while, I ll never forget the support I received from so many on this thread. You know who you are.
Happy to report I am a grateful alcoholic today. And was 9 months AF on 25th March.
I still go to regular AA meetings, about 3 per week and it has kept me sober today.
I am doing the steps that AA suggests, and getting amazing help from my sponsor.
MWO got me started and AA has kept it going.
