Where to start............
Picked them up from airport. Made plan to go up to Bamburgh with the sainted Mr JC driving. Went back to ours to pick up my anorak (yes hard to believe someone as young and trendy as me has an anorak)..............Satz had a scratchy eye.............went to Boots where the pharmacist reckoned she'd scratched her cornea and we all trooped to the optician round the corner..............optician fitted her in..............got his tweezers out and found a stray eyelash.......

Then off on big drive up the coastal route through Northumberland to Bamburgh........passing Dustanburgh Warkworth Castle.........into Craster..........world famous for their kippers...........back though Seahouses.............had fish and chips, pot of tea and bread and butter each there..........back to hotel this time through Alnwick (famous for the Harry Potter fillums) and down towards Tynemouth Priory and then back to hotel.

Not forgetting we had time for a squizz at the Angel of the North, Tyne Bridge and the holy ground that is Newcastle United's home.

Its beautiful..........bit of a chilly wind coming of the sea at Bamburgh.

if im anywhere different i like to look round the charity shops, even posh areas have them and its amazing whet you might (or not) find..............................maybe thats just me....................

Didn't come across any...........just a National Trust one and their prices are anything but charity.

But up in Seahouses.............the bucket and spade and fishing net sales still seem to holding steady.

ha the famous Hadrians Wall to keep the Jocks out????that worked......not!!..glad your having a good time..used to go scuba diving off Seahouses..used to stay in a b nb along from the chippy on the "main "street..diving in the farnes wiz great ,the seals used to try and pull your fins off!!
