Happiness to me is hearing one of my bratty older children speaking sweetly to one of the other children.......paradise

It doesn't happen much, maybe that's why I love to hear it when it does happen ( I have three girls)

That sounds like a really challenging. Do you have contact with others who are in similar situations? Like a support group?

We should be glad to have our health and not take it for granted.

What makes you happy?

Hi all..we experience joy/happiness in so many ways..birth of a child, health,a sense of wellbeing and so many other things.
But christian joy/happiness is spiritual and has its source in God and its deep and lasting.

lots of other sources of my own happiness have been fleeting and fragile but despite my weakness/addiction my constant source of happiness has been to know i am good enough in God's eyes and loved by him unconditionally.

Still working on the weakness,s but wont let them overwhelm me as assured by my faith all will be ok eventually......just a long journey to that perfect state!!

The unexamined life is a wasted life .

Just has a lovely meal out on a summer eve with friends and family.Sat in the garden for a bit listening to the birds...a big bubbly bath and just checking in before off to bed.....feeling happy and peaceful(aided by achieving this weeks goal of no booze weekdays..)

Happy is not always promised......but you can have Joy deep down in your soul even when things are not so happy.
