Must tell you about a woman that comes into work.............bless her heart she was on a waiting list for a de-tox and got pissed off waiting so decided to do her own taper.....................bizarre as it sounds she used Crabbie's Ginger Wine which she has loathed and detested since she was a child...........took it in doses as if it was medicine.....................she came in yesterday and she's been off the grog a week and looks fabulous. The change in her is amazing.............actually had a wee teary moment when I gave her a hug.

She didn't sleep for 3 days. Yesterday was one of those days when its a joy to go in. Everyone turned up for their appointments..........really nice atmosphere and this lady was the icing on the cake.

how long os the wait for detox? what does it entail?

Didn't have much time to talk to her so I'll ask her next week. She knew it was going to be rough as she had her partner with her all the time and he knew to ring an ambulance if it went pear-shaped.

Do you feel you're ready to come off them? It'll be crap but in the long run better.

Oh and if I hadn't got a cob on with Mr JC on Sunday...........I'd be out in the garden planting.its glorious outside and going to piss down at the weekend.
