I texted a bit with K9 today. She isn't up to posting at the moment. Sierra is not doing that well so she is focused on her, of course. She'll be back when she can.

Well - went to the dentist and I have to go back for a deep cleaning in a couple of weeks. :cuss: Oh well - have to look at the bright side.

Off to read for a few before falling asleep. Maybe, I'll read for a few. Ha, ha

Morning all,
Yep Nora I am going to chill for a while today. Do plan to call the hospital and do a major complaint but nothing else until the gym later. I need that to help me de stress. Has been a really stressful week. This is yet again where i miss hubbs who would have been my rock.
Need to do some laundry but not leaving the house until it is time for grief counselor then the gym is right across the street.
Supposed to do a group tonight but I am going to beg off that too. Not up to being too social.
I get my hair done tomorrow and it seems like just yesterday I had it done. I feel like I have been improving over the last 6 weeks but maybe it is harder for me to see. I am functioning and getting things done. I dont cry all day every day and do manage intelligent conversation. Got dad taken care of so maybe there is hope for me yet.

Well - this sure was a slow day for the Steppers. I think that means that everyone was very busy not slow. :harhar:

Looks like Mama has been really busy with work and after work events. I saw some pics on facebook and she looks happy. Pretty lady.

Pauly - I hope that you are feeling better. Thank you so much for your post that you made on the other thread. I understood it COMPLETELY!!! The way things have been for me lately and am pulling out of it.

Rusty - guess you are busy at work.

Liz - what day is your anniversary? What are you going to do?

Dots - how are you doing today? I hope that you got some rest.

Well - we are about to have some corn on the cob. Something happened to our plants and they were stunted. So, we have some baby ears of corn that developed. We're going to give them a try.

We are getting some good rain today so maybe we can plant some more this weekend.

Hope that all of our friends stop by soon. Jane, SKendall, Treetops, NS. Always great to hear their wonderful comments.

this place is so slow....
Had a great evening. Went to a fund raising event for a group that helps at risk youth. Great dinner and met some new folks. I need to get out more like this. It lifts my mood so much.
Get my hair done tomorrow and that lifts my mood too.

Morning all,
Going to get my hair done then go to grocery and Costco. What fun.
Lady from church called and woke me up. She lost her husband suddenly too and wants to meet for lunch. Nice of her but not sure I want to go. Started my day off in a crying funk and I dont want to do that every day. Drat....gotta think on this one. Another lady called the other day to invite me to the "widows" group at church but it is full of really older ladies and I just dont fit in. I am not going to sit here and wait to die to be with my hubbs...OK debbie downer again.
