Had to scrape some muck of my lappy to see it..........there's blue in that there wall.

its not BLUE blue but its blue. first coat. second coat would make it bluer. still its painted over now with white. plain white, not antique white or ivory white or antique ivory white.

I brought their colour brochure home and some of the colour descriptions are bizarre........very light pink was caller Ballet Pink. Ended up throwing it away as I was getting obsessed.
Oh and a very dark pink was called Flamingo...............now just how many of them do you see everyday.

There must be a think-tank out there earning mega amounts of money thinking up names.

I'd do the...you know that colour that Auntie J was wearing at so & so's wedding well its a bit darker that that but not as dark as the woman sitting 2 seats behind her..........but that's a bit of a mouthful on to put on a tin.

We took one of my tops, which was a lovely lilac, to Homebase and they put together a paint that was the exact colour.........was quite impressed. Wanted it for the bedroom.

i did that with my local hardware store, you know support your local shops. i took your hat. didnt quite come out the same colour as it was done by eye.

Well apart from the paper shop our local shop is a huge Tesco.

Quite I like DIY shops..............pick up a tin of paint, a plant and look at kit hens and say very loudly 'who on earth would buy that colour blind' then find the people who were looking at it behind you at the till.

girls I enjoyed that chat about paint......
My kit hen wall is Pistachio - a very light subtle green.
I came home when it had been done and it was LIME green.
I said that was not the colour I picked.
I had Mr S & the painter contradict me ..... try to convince me it was the colour I chose.
I stuck to my guns.
The painter came back and said it was a mistake in the mixing- left out a colour or summit.
He had to re-do the lot.....
No apology mind from Mr S making me out to me a dope

Evening army i'm in bed watching the best Marigold hotel on film4. I think my painting will start when I get back from holiday I might get the interest and the energy to do it then. I bought a small dogs kennel in our local charity shop which is perfect for the cats outdoors. The two male love it. Needs some outdoor varnish lucky my neighbour had some leftover which should be enough for 2 coats. any news from Molly has things gotten any better at home?
