Hope you all had a great night!

It's a beautiful sunny day here in New England. My wife and I are going to spend the day doing some much needed yard-work, plant our garden and then go grocery shopping together. Since I've saved around $140 on wine in 9 days, we're going to make a treat - a nice seafood risotto with lobster and scallops cooked on the grill. And no skimping on the butter!

Haven't done that in... 15 years? Woo hoo!!

Yum that sounds delicious! No plans for me today. Cuddling with the doggie right now. Definitely a run on the treadmill. Cloudy here today, so maybe I will wash a window or two.

Just hanging out at home - putting way clean laundry, cleaning dirty laundry, and planning for tomorrow when my mom's coming over for dinner. your day sounds much better than mine :-)

Hope to go out to buy a replacement computer today too - this one works but not very well and I have a project for an upcoming event that I need to work on and I just can't see doing it on this old thing!

Well Lost I think i am coming to your place for a bbq thanks very much.

its mothers day here and my daughters 28th birthday so we are off to her house for a nice loud family visit and then to lunch at a pub. it will be a glorious fun day with my four children, their partners and my mum. last year i would have been feeling deprived and wanting a drink to toast the celebrations but today i am just grateful that i will be around the ones i love.

i hope the bbq went well!
