I have made it 4 years of being sober. Four wonderful years of not having regrets about the night before. Four years of not having hangovers and although it has not always been easy, I am in this for the long haul. No more wasting money on poison. No more do I worry if I have enough to get drunk. To celebrate I got myself some chocolate milk. I know that you all can do it to. Just work at your strategies until you find one that works. And take it ODAAT or even OMAAT if need be.

I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.
Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.
Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow. -

Congrats, Drifty. To celebrate anything, I usually have ice cream. Chocolate milk might be nice once in awhile, though.My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.Comment
