    Thanks Tawny
You look after yourself and keep warm, OK?

I'm giving it my best shot, Glassy. Thanks. I reckon I've got enough wood cut and split for this winter and maybe the next. After that ... who knows ... maybe I'll move north. Or buy a swanky unit with press-the-button heating. Hmmm ... so much to consider.

If you're thinking of moving, the temp here is forecast to go down to between 9 and 16 this week. A gal could do worse!

I have been puzzling over warmth and cold ....... I was in Wellington over the weekend and it was 14 degrees and I was freezing. Came back to Sydney on Sunday and it was 14 degrees and it felt quite mild. WTF?

My Wellington embuggerance has been resolved, my house is back to ship-shape condition, and I have a new tenant moving in this week. I'm charging a very low rent in exchange for having a room that is set aside for us to be able to use on our reasonably frequent trips to Wellington. She is a cat lover, so I am sure the house is in good hands :-)

Betty and Wookie are now living with my neighbour, who is one of the world's best ever neighbours, and loves them every bit as much as we do. Betty appears to have forgiven me for moving away, and regularly turns up for cuddles when I visit. Wookie is much less forgiving and glares at me with disdain.

Hiya Missy - yep, it's cute alright. Wouldn't you love to be able to crawl into a space like that? So glad you got your embuggerance sorted and lovely to hear that Betty and Wookie are fine - even if Wookie is somewhat disgruntled.

                        Hello Grungies.
Good to see a bit of activity here this evening.
Hard to leave things on the hands of others isn't it Missy? I've always struggled with that. But so glad it's sorted out and best of luck with the new tenant, who sounds like a great score.
Good on you for starting a new thread Froglette.
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Trying to download some amusing pics from Brisbane airport last week, but it's not happening.
Off very early on Friday for Alaska...where the sun neither rising or setting at Barrow.

Just would like to see MC a bit less contrived and drawn out. It really could slot into 40 minutes. My money is still on Reynold.
But I'll never know as I think it'll be over when I get back.
