Rusty, my new sundress is what my girls and I call an "eating" dress! Loose and flowy and covers the tummy! Very important when you're on a cruise!

Well - my son got a DUI last night. Ran a stop sign and hit a family in their car. Thank God that nobody was hurt. On my way to get him out of jail. This is going to be bad. It's his 2nd DUI. Jail time???

Liz and Rusty yes I am happy and I know hubby would want me to be happy. I saw a butterfly yesterday in the yard and I know that is supposed to be a sign from the afterlife so maybe he was telling me to be free and enjoy....I hope so.
Taking crazy dog to training tonight. Hope he does well. He does not like the crate in the car. I have to shove him in feet first. he is NOT happy
I need some time on the treddie to make up for all the eating out this weekend. Dating is bad for my diet...
Lots of potential for this week so should be a good one.

Mama-safe travels. Do you have a rental car for your trip to Orlando?

Dottie-Yes, I think the butterfly is a sign dh wants you to get on with life. May I be so bold as to ask whether the men you have been dating are close in age to you?

Rusty yes the 4 fellows I would like to see again are close to my age. 2 are 67, one is 64 and the other my age I am older by 4 months. Dating a younger man....LOL
I will be 61 tomorrow.

Liz tomorrow is a fun filled day. Lunch with the gals at my doctors office. They are so sweet. Then tomorrow night I am going to dinner then a program at a local college with Art. He is the Jewish fellow. The program has to do with the Holocaust and survival. He is very sweet, short but sweet...will wear flat shoes..and I will still be 2 inches taller but it is what it is....

Nora - a 2nd DUI for me would mean 30 days in jail and a felony on my record....prayer for you my love. Is son home now?
Orlando is 2.5 hours away. I plan on leaving between 7 and 7:30 tomorrow morning and I will be home Thursday night. I am not planning on smashing my car. And no, Dear Rusty, no rental car. Like Dottie said, it is what it is. Off to do laundry, pack, eat and go to bed.
We buried sweet Lucky at the lake yesterday. Time to put that behind us.

Mama- I hope you didn't think I was being facetious when I asked about the rental car. After your accident, I thought you said you were going to rent a car whenever you had to travel. That's why I asked. Big hugs. I miss you.

More work awaits me this evening, so I better get going. I have to be up at 3:50 a.m. tomorrow to make my 4 Hour Dr. up north. I hope you're all having a peaceful evening!

Liz… I'm usually cheerful. I really am, except tonight I'm exhausted and even the lady at the dry cleaners said I seemed like I was down. You Always have such kind words for me, Liz I really appreciate it..you are such a sweetheart!

No Rusty - I understood what you meant. When I mentioned a rental car to my boss, she just kind of blinked.....I priced them and am not willing to pay out of my pocket......It's not my boss's fault I don't have collision on my cars, but she pay me $100 a month for gas and that does not begin to cover wear and tear, tires, old changes, etc. on a 200,000 mile car. I am not a petty, argumentative person and I am very fond of my boss, but we may be chatting in the future about her long set travel precedents. I Feel better Pauly. I guess it's time to text K9 again....
