Got my hair cut and colored and went to grocery and now I am doing payroll before date night
I am ok......just trying not to get the flying monkeys get me down

Nora , we leave July 3rd! Three weeks from today.
Sale was hugely successful, but I'm beat. Cleaning up tomorrow.

Dottie...when you told me you had been out multiple times with a few different men, two songs popped into my head, "I Get Around," by the Beach Boys, and "I Didn't Mean To Turn You On," by Robert Palmer. ROTFL. Just be careful when addressing these guys. Don't say, "Oh, Lester, you're an amazing kisser," when you are with John. John won't appreciate that! Hahahahahah

Nora-doesn't the verbiage in the standards just blow your mind...with boredom, probably. Sorry to hear about your car, but I am so glad you are OK!

Going to dads nursing home for a fathers day thingy today then supposed to meet another fellow for something to eat later.

I have been sitting here thinking about this whole dating thing. Why am I so much more confident now than I was 20 years ago??? I am meeting these men and if there is a second date I am ok with that and if not that is ok too. I am not settling for anything or anyone. I find this very strange. Way back when I would get all upset of a man didnt like me or think I was pretty. Now I dont really give a dam because I know I am worth loving and respecting. Did hubby give me his gift for the last20 years and this is why I am able to be this confident woman??? AND I am not sleeping with any of them until I am darn good and ready....maybe I shouldn't over analyze this and just enjoy it while it lasts.

Dots, I have been thinking about the dream you had about dh and you wanted to kiss him and you couldn't. Do you remember that? I do. I think it was his way of saying, "Ok, time to move on. I don't want you to be alone." YES, YES, YES, he gave you the gift of confidence. You lost 20 lbs. and that gave YOU the gift of confidence. Funny that you call yourself Dottie Belle. A Belle, you are, dear friend. SO happy for you.

Rusty funny you should say that because I think he was saying the same thing. Our age difference always bothered him more than it did me and I know he would want me to be happy.
The fellow tonight was very nice and educated and successful. We had a lovely chat, he bought and we agreed to see each other again. He also lives 5 minutes from me and likes to exercise and maybe try dancing. He moves to the top of the list...LOL

It is 4:24 ....rise and shine! A quick check-in because I still have work to do before I go to work today!

Liz-I will be headed to Illinois today and then Northern Wisconsin tomorrow for work the rest of the week. A new sundress....love them! I bet you look smashing in it.

Dottie-sounds like you may have found a dance partner. Hope it works out. ;-)

Dottie - I think Rusty is right. Hubby would want you to be happy. I am so tickled that you are getting out if the house and meeting new people.
I was at the lake house all day and got a lot of sun and did yardwork.
I am in Orlando this week....
