its called ivory. downstairs hallway up the stairs and upstairs landing is all an old sunny yellow. i bought some ladders from lidl :love: and with a telescopic roller extension i found in the garage. i counted my pennies and i cant afford to pay a decorator. the wall is about 15 foot at its highest, on dogleg stairs. wish me luck.

should be plenty of sandshoe types around to choose from.

i felt it may be a step too far for me but i have no choice. dog will call for help if i fall off the ladder. well, maybe not. just eat me after a few days.

oh ive been so clever. spent all this time checking colours to cover the holes in the wall where the telly fell off, making sure i get the right colour to continue the hallway and get a test pot for a tiny bit of wall left in another room when i ran out. no wonder i was having trouble, looking at homebase own brand paint and its b and q i go to. ffs.

Afternoon army i'm to Aldi in Bray for food shopping and euro store for tealights mostly my money is low this week as I paid my water bill every week its a bill in the door. Be careful on the ladder Roxy I wudn't be so brave doing a hall stairs and landing but lucky I live in a small bungalow with a tiny hall which i'll get around to doing before the year is out. Off to make a sandwich, shower and get ready to make tracks.

I have a feeling we tend to take for granted some beauty that we have on our doorstep..........when you and Satz were over here I saw Northumberland or the teeny bits we saw through different eyes.

Roxxy, thought when you said you had Lidl ladders your Lidl must have been open.

The bus was hot, town was hot, the shops were hot but I got my white canvas shoes so I can stick my hot feet in them.

i love the countryside and villages round here. i love them round my sisters too though completely different. i prefer the weather down here though.

I wonder if we see it differently now we're older from being dragged there on school trips or sat in the back of the car of Ma & Pa when we'd rather be sitting in our bedrooms being teenagers............tragic and alone.
