                Hello
Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

It is, I like the early days accountability.
My rhubarb was lovely last night. The gooseberries ripening nicely as are the strawberries, say another week. Then its the early raspberries, followed by blueberries, plums, apples & pears. First few peas are out this morning but still waiting on the early new potatoes. I will stop there before you nod off....but I do find growing things very therapeutic. Next time I feel like a drink I am going out to dig a big hole in the garden haha.

Hi to Jackie Tabbers and anyone else around. Wow you plenty of fruit and veg in your garden Tabbers send us a bit from Wicklow when its ready lol. I haven't gotten round to growing any thing edible in my garden yet but I like doing bedding plants. I want to start growing herbs but never remember to get a container but I will do soon. It will be a start. Exciting time for Jackie with the arrvials from Boston. My neice hubby son and his 2 kids from previous relation ship arrive over from Tasmania early July for 10 days in Ireland and then on the way back to Tassie some of the family head over to Thailand including me we stay 2 wks and Joann and family stay 10 days. Its a long time since I had a 2 wk hoiday any where hot and sunny so will enjoy and make the best of it. Credit union is paying for it and i'll be paying them for a couple of years.

Seeing it grow was really rewarding and now when I catch sight of it, it reminds me of how long it seemed to take to become the size it is - kind of a reminder to hold on to what I've got.
I love the symbolism of that idea plus it probably looks really pretty.

sorry. dont know about t'others but i was in a pity party for one.

today i am pasting on my rictus grin and going to stand at the top of my road to watch the womens cycle race go past. favourite crashed out at the end of stage one after winning it by hitting a photographer who was in the way.

http://www.womenstour.co.uk/stages/stage2/index.php cant find the due time, anything from 10am to 11.30 going by the road closure signs. im not standing there for that length of time, my back will give out.
