Well, crap night in the tent, lashed rain and the tent leaked so all woke up with soggy backs and bums at about 4am and legged it into the house.

Yeah, we've always had a few animals around - dogs, cats, hens, rabbits etc.. but down to just 2 dogs, 3 cats and 4 hens at the mo. I used to work with an animal charity but gave it up in the end due to time but also ended up bringing half of them home. Mr.B used to warn me not too and then he would come with me sometimes and would be even worse, that's how we ended up with the 2 dogs we have at the minute and its not like we have a big house or garden!

That's good to hear about older members. I remember Mario saying something about having a place over there, I think he got married there? Portugal is lovely, albeit a bit hot, I lived there for a year around 2007 and wouldn't mind going back someday but I think me needs a more temperate climate
Anyway, I'm off, have a piece of work to do that has to be done by tomorrow, have put it off since Thurs. I have that 'I'd prefer to be at the dentist feeling'. Morning army stopped raining here for now but its dull and misty. Miss some of the old members too but some like starty chillgirl and I think oney still post on fb. Miss Mario Tipps and Dreamy hope they pop- back for a brief hello sometime. Nice to hear you a good night Molly. I also had a lovely evening. My niece hired a hall in our local rugby club for a welcome home party so all her and Austin's friends and family could get a chance to say hello and meet up as they have will have a busy week doing some day trips with the kids. The oldest 2 have never been to Ireland. I meet a cousin I hadn't seen in years and it was to catch up and see all the nieces nephews great neices nephew and new old people. There lots of sambos nibbles and not a lot of heavy drinking so I was ok not drinking as there a few not drinking with children with them. The majority left bout 10.30 11 and I was there at 8 and stayed till 11. Got the bus there and back as its not too far from my home. Very enjoyable evening. I don't get out to social occasions much so if was nice for Saturday evening. In the afternoon I went out on the fur farm protest information leafleting in Grafton St. wit ha few other animal activists. So busy day.Comment
