Have had a great day so far. Got a pedicure and went shopping. Most all of my clothes are too big. So I got some shirts and dynamite size 10 jeans for the next biker chick ride which is Wednesday. My husband always said that if lost the weight he would buy me a new wardrobe...well I guess he is indirectly.
Now I am working on the laundry and staying in tonight.

It's so nice to see our thread so busy and everyone sounds good, but I am worrying about you, beloved Nora.
Addy - my grandmother was named Adelyn and my only niece is Adelyn, but we call her Addy, so you are already special to me!
I am not sober, but I am not drunk. And I am ok with that, but I know it's a dangerous game to play. I had a DUI in 2013 and was sober for 8 months, and have gradually been drinking. Just weekends, and I never drive. I am not saying this is ok, I am just letting you know where I am in my journey. This gang tends to be loving and supportive, no matter what, and we have been criticized for it, but I want you to feel comfortable.
Rusty has become our spokesperson....or the Doc, as I call her. Dottie is our steady soldier, and the rest of us are all just sisters. We bitch about our husbands and kids and health and bills and are always here for each other.

Rusty, I loved your corn analogy. It seems so simple! Your words are always filled with light and love.
Lizz - I saw your piccies on FB and your trip looked awesome.
I coughed and hacked my way through the day, but it was actually a decent day. It's only taken me four months to sort of get the hang of my new job, but I am getting there. I have won over Devil Barbie at the front desk, amazingly enough!
Off to eat homemade chili and rest....back to work tomorrow.
Dottie - I would love to see you dance. Nana and Pop were beautiful dancers.
Hey Pauly - hope your head clears. I have heard that barometric pressure greatly affects the inner ear.

Someone else share those good words of advice and it's true. It is MY journey and just thinking of it that way helps. I like turning the anger into gratitude as well. Big thanks to all.

Mama, thanks for your honesty and for filling me in on who everyone is. Look forward to getting to know everyone. Liz we are big travelers too and have been to Greece & Turkey as well. Sounded like a great trip. Wonderful word pix.

Morning all,
Gym at 1 then have to get ready for Date with Dave. Dance lesson then dinner. Seeing him Friday and next Wednesday is our 1 month anniversary....I am just cracking up. He wants to take me to dinner for our one month. It is very sweet and he is a good organizer.
Seeing Jerry tomorrow night. Going to another bike night. My new jeans and boots.
I am having fun and I never thought I would have this after all the sadness and grief. But I guess life goes on and if I dont want to be left behind I have to seize whatever is placed in my path and enjoy.
Life is good.

Home from a long but productive day. And it looks like we are about to land a major account we have been working on for months. Properties in Atlanta, Jacksonville and Pensacola. Good Lord....it's about to get really busy.
I am feeling better every day and still on antibiotics.
Pauly just posted that she has relapsed again, I think, so I am worrying.
Dottie - you sound great hun, and I am happy for you.

So I started Lucy back on a mix of her dog food and chicken and she is eating her dry food again too. Makes no sense but of Lucy's happy mommy's happy.
Family picnic tomorrow night at Cjs job. She works for a hilton and throw a lovely fun shindig. The grounds are beautiful. Sorry rusty, but I will be eating the corn on the cob, but I will think of you :love:

Date was really good We went to have a light dinner then to a dance class. He is really trying to learn and that is a good thing. I am enjoying the time we spend together.
Pauly we are all here for you. Don't beat yourself up. WE all get it.
