Morning ladies, it's another beautiful morning in this part of the world and I plan on spending a good deal of it outside in the fresh air, lots to be done in the garden.
Taking a moment out to sit in the sun on a rustic bench beside the rasperry bushes then popping in the occasional, still warm from the sun, ripe raspberry and letting it melt in my mouth has to be one of life's simple little pleasures.


Threading? I will pass as I look more like my avatar these days, a hairy faced monster.
Cruises? No thanks, stuck on a ship for a week with occasional hours off for good behaviour, shudder.

Hello Molly dear, I have been lucky this year with the strawberries, raspberries & gooseberries but the blueberries are remarkable by their absence, I would say there was half a dozen berries between both bushes, mind you I suspect the blackbirds may have had a say in this as they aren't in the fruit cage or under netting. I have loads of apples, plums, and figs thankfully and the pear trees have both produced fruit for the first time so the 'orchard' looks good. Have you courgettes planted? Its like the day of the triffids here again with them, I swear if I sit long enough I could see the grow.

More or less the same reasons for me about the cruise............mebbees one up the Danube or the Fjords might be OK.

Preference would be for rural Japan but I would like to see Tokyo & Kyoto. Did I ever share this site with you, it is one of my very favourites? His trip to Japan is beautifully photographed.
