Oh forgot to say hi to Techi. Yep its tomorrow at 10pm we fly via Dubai then Phukett. Can't believe it. Most likely hit me more when i'm checked in and boarding the plane. Just hoping not drinking won't be a problem I will be taking my ab its my first time on holiday being af but i'll have some books and I think i'll gey a big book of crossword puzzles etc it will pass time at the airport and for the hotel/beach/pool. Any advice/help welcome from anyone who done holidays abroad af. I know Satz has done it a few times now.

Hi Foxy it's all in the mindset.
Use the AB for this holiday- that's what I did- then once you've done it- it will be much easier the next time.
Just remember you are not missing out - just think to the end and enjoy other's pain the next morning :hehe:

Thanks Satz yes it is all about mind set and no we don't miss out its just al talking. Any where for holidays counts JC lol. Looking forward to trying nice restaurants and good Thai vegetarian food. We will do some sight seeing day trips and markets and of coarse laze by the pool and the beaches.

Morning army must google sominex haven't heard of it. Last of the packing to get done. quick trip to Tesco and the library and dust and hoover bedroom. My sister and her hubby are picking me up by 6.30 so that's suits me great no having to get the bus to pick up air coach. I'll be back on the 28th and i'll check in here when I can from internet café or hotel. My phone doesn't pick up internet so good plus more phone charges and not sure what signel i'll get as long as I cand texts i'm ok. Well be back later have a good day. It rained last night here but stopped now. Sun is coming out but still cloudy.

Sorry for not being able to check in for awhile - was away for a few days, then ashamedly I have to say that I had a few drinks over the weekend and thought about not checking in - then went on a mad job applying binge - then thought about checking in and not again- then went and banged my head off the wall - and then finally decided to check in again.
hope all are well, I believe Molly is in Donegal, which is a part of Ireland I would love to see and have never been to, and I think Glitzy is also on hols
