Good morning and what a beautiful sunrise it was. With that new dawn comes fresh hope, renewal and the realisation that this day can be whatever I make of it. Life is too short to get in a funk over things that on the scale of it are just minuscule and meaningless. Onwards and upwards I say, who is coming with me?

Love Lidl.......the bread, the croissants, the prawns, the cheese............even the staff at our local one are really friendly.

In other news I am going to the moving picture house this week to see a fillum called Minions...........my cousin and I are having to take her 8 year old daughter so we look legit.

Simon would get on like a house on fire with Mr JC (pun intended).....loves playing with matches, lighters, BBQ coals.

haha --- that's gas -- (haha -- pun intended!!) never met ANYONE like Simon --- even now at 31 he gazes at candles and the stove in the winter..... every pic we have of lakeside or beach picnics has a wee fire going in the background --- and of course there was the panicked filled phone call from a neighbour (when Si was 10) -- 'YOUR SON HAS SET FIRE TO THE CLIFFS' ---

Mr JC was terribly disappointed we couldn't use the wood burner up at the caravan this time.

It was so dry.........had visions of half of Scotland becoming ash.

Literally got out of the bed at 8.30 & went to meet 2 old friends for a long walk . gossip and a coffee.
