Come one, come all.............no rules super sober Sunday July 26th 2015

I'd like to see a very big SHOUT OUT here from members who have been here a while, those just starting out again and those just starting out for the very first time. Its the day of the week for using your megaphone..........

Remember each and every one of us here started with a day one, which became a day two, then a week, then a month and then .............to infinity and beyond.

SHOUT IT LOUD AND PROUD AND STAY STRONG AND KEEP THINKING POSITIVE ONE AND ALL LET'S GIVE OUR BEST TOGETHER .

So don't be shy and give it a try...........

Let the time and date calender take the strain from your brain when you're counting...............http://www.timeanddate.com/date/duration.html

For me its 6 years, 19 days excluding the end date and still tickled pink.
It could be worse, I could be filing.
    AF since 7/7/2009

763 HAPPY SOBER DAYS - this is from someone who was terrified to go one day without an evening drink.... couldn't enter a pub without having a drink..... all social occasions involved having a drink.

And the weeks go marching by, another one for me!
Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

Somewhere about 4 years and 5 months. Life's ups and downs still happen but without alcohol I have handled them all.

I used the Sinclair Method to beat my alcoholic drinking.
