Blue - I was having anxiety attacks several years ago. I'm not sure if there was a connection with my peri-menopause. I really had a hard time of it for several years with the other side effects of the peri-menopause. So, it's quite possible that the anxiety was part of it too.

                    Late evening all.
Date with Dave was fantastic. Dinner at Bravo then back to his place. He just want to "date" and that is fine with me. He is very intelligent and we can just talk...among other things which is also fantastic. Friends with benefits maybe???? Going to just go with this for now. Seeing him again on Friday. Maybe a date with Paul on Saturday. I want to have FUN not hassles and worrying about what I say or do like with Jerry. Who needs that??? Not me....
Well going to bed and maybe can sleep in tomorrow. Dance lesson is at 3pm.

This is quite a discussion ladies, just who the hell is Perry?? lol
Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

Cowboy - hasn't your wife introduced you to Perry? LOL

Morning all - I'm at work but wanted to check in.

Blue - my peri-menopause started mid 40's to beginning 50's. Yuck! Something that I never would want to repeat.

Fen - you have been on my mind so much.

Waving to everyone. I'll be back.......

Blue, I've always been prone to anxiety, so I can't say that it was a side effect of peri. I did wake up anxious in the wee hours, but it was usually from alcohol withdrawal. Ugh!

I think I have read somewhere that anxiety/panic can be an issue with perimenopause, however.
