Red and Sam...thanks for lurking and helping Skendall when she really needed it. You two are at the top of my Gratitude List today, along with the sweet client I am working with today who stuck with me all those years, despite the fact that he has seen me on Monday mornings, hungover and bloated. Wow, I am a lucky lady!!

Hey guys, Skendall I really hope you don't have to put Peggy down thanks for the link Sam and Red,I read it and it seems like a lot of dogs are suffering from this drug,one good thing about Vegas is there's no fleas and ticks,now cockroaches and black widows are another story haha,scorpions too but I never see any,knock on wood,day off today,probably hit up the 99 cent store,watch Louie,hit up kohls and target, that's about it, been printing off the pics on my phone that have been on there since before Lou was born,was putting some in an album yesterday and some of the old pictures made me sad cuz I was drunk in them don't want to toss them but don't want to see them either, what a waste of space I was,shit! Oh well, out with the old,in with the new I hate how slow the boards are on the weekend, at least peeps have lives though, I'm usually babysitting andat home,hello to all and iI hope we all have a great Friday

Gosh, yesterday was busy on this thread! SKendall, I so hope that Peggy will be okay. If not, perhaps a law suit is in order. How horrible that this medication is allowed to be sold, with all of the evidence that it causes so much harm. : (

Morning all
Gym then meeting my bff to look at more adult day care places for her husband. Then I think I have a date with new guy Jim tonight.
Next door neighbor came to the fence last night to tell me they had to put their dog to sleep. She was 13 and my dogs would always run to the fence to bark at her and she just looked at them like you crazy fools what is wrong with you....will miss her.

I just took a look at a pet forum. Several people had dogs who were badly affected by that drug. One woman took her dog to the vet and IV fluids were administered. If Peggy isn't drinking much, maybe that would help?

I guess I can see why Mrs. Fen would want a replacement quick-like. Since I'm out of the house, she's been eating cereal and pizza for supper, plus she's had to hire a house keeper. I'm not there to take care of any of the errands.

Rusty, what ummm...interesting work! LOL! Some of the descriptions of eyelashes or gel nails in unexpected places were a bit cringe-worthy. : )

Dottie, I bet it does feel nice to have so many swains vying for your attention, lol.

Nora, how are you doing today?

Pauly, Mrs. Fen and I don't really have feelings for each other...but it's still hurtful to think that she wants to replace me so quickly. It's only been two months.

Liz, Mrs. Fen is somewhere on the autism spectrum, I think. She doesn't really "get" why saying the things she says are hurtful. She makes inappropriate comments a lot and has a hard time making and retaining friends. There's a glitch in her emotional wiring. I know that she loves, but she doesn't always express herself well.

Thanks Sam and Rusty. I've been researching this issue until my brain has broken.

I just walked her and after a short walk she started shaking again, but ate well.

I haven't been able to find anyone who has sued. One of the problems is - how do you put a price on a dog. The American Vet Assoc. actually had a page up where other vets posted their experiences with Trifexis infected dogs and it has been taken down. There is one retired vet who acknowledges this problem though. I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but there seems to be a wall around this problem and Eli Lilly co.

I miss Mama.

Hey all - I'm doing ok - thanks for checking on me. I have had much energy this week. I have going overboard with sweets and caffeine and I know that is affecting me. So, it's time to get back to healthier things.

Fen - I'm really sorry about Mrs Fen. I do think that is why you need to be careful and make sure that you are taken care of with all of this. It sounds like she gets a mind set that she is going to take care of herself and not put enough thought/concern into making sure that you are taken care of. :hug:

SK - I can't stop thinking about Peggy.

I hope that everyone has a wonderful day. We are having a major heat wave again. Yuck! I'm just grateful that we have air conditioning in the living room now!

Fen - you have worked at home and taken care of everything. Well, that means that you weren't putting away for your retirement or Social Security. You should be compensated for that. :hug:

I'm screwed for social security when I'm older,I've only ever worked either part time or self employed, eek!!
