      Hello everyone........

Techie - so wonderful to see you. You & your family have been in my thoughts.

Mama - you are truly missed around here. I don't know how you are keeping up with the crazy work schedule! Try to relax this weekend. How has the drinking been going with all the traveling that you have had to do? I hope that moderation is still working well for you.

Did some running around this morning and got my back popped. Now, I'm home for the rest of the day. Probably going to be playing with the Wii. We haven't played with it for at least a year and it's so much fun.

I hope that everyone is having a great weekend. I'll be back in a bit. Can't decide if I'm going to play bowling or do the Wii Fit first. LOL

I am so sorry I have been absent today. Busy, as usual.

I decided that I can't continue to wander around in the jeans I have. They are way too big at the moment. I went to the West side of town to the Eddie Bauer store. I was a bit dismayed by the lack of variety. All the women's pants were either "boyfriend jeans" style or "slim with some curvy straight leg". Well, to be perfectly frank with you all, I don't have much of curvy anything. When I try on most women's jeans, there's a bagginess where the hips go. I basically look like my dad, except with small hooters. Now that I think of it, my dad had small hooters at the end of his life! So essentially, I look like a slim Norwegian man. I can't purchase men's pants, because they are too large in the legs.

Alternatively, I can't purchase women's tops, because I have a freakishly long torso...so back to the men's department for shirts. I did locate one that will work for me. Sweaters are not out yet, so even though I am freezing my ass off here, I have one sweater that fits me.

        Enough about me.

Mama, don't feel badly for me. I am living with my best friends and I think I can bring Mrs. Fen around to my way of thinking. You don't spend sixteen years with somebody to have things end up so terribly. I do know she loves me. I think she was jealous that I am living with our best friends, and so she lashed out. She has difficulty maintaining friendships. Thank you so much for the offer to visit! I plan on visiting all of my MWO peeps in the future again.

SKendall, please check in with us. It did seem that Peggy was doing a bit better, right?

Nora, I am glad you got your back popped. I have a wii here in the basement...perhaps I should set it up?

Liz, I agree with Blue...so sad that your client felt the need to ingest those items. My own younger sister has attempted suicide many times, albeit half-heartedly. That made things so hard, that she would be willing to put her grands and children through that whole experience. Since my sister has always reported that she took xy and z, she's always been transported to the psych ward...and held for a 72 hour hold, about which she complained bitterly.

Hi all from a rainy Northwest.

Welcome home mama and good new for Lizann.

Nora, you sound so darned good, it's nice to hear.

            Hiya Pauly, Rusty and Fen.

Peggy is no where near normal, but seems better. She is holding her head up now, but at night it does appear she's close to blind. I'm dog sitting for a neighbor and she was distracted by the dog for a few minutes and then fell asleep.

Hi folks. Horrible first half of the day. Mrs. Fen and I went to the emergency vet's with kitty. Right away this morning, she puked and was straining in the litter box, then cried loudly and continuously. Once we got settled in at the vet's and had the exam, it was revealed that the cat was really constipated, the poor dear. They gave her an enema, some sub-q fluids and another anti nausea shot like the one I gave her on Friday. She was given a prescription for a med to increase her appetite. Of course, while the cat was in the back being tortured, Mrs. Fen told me she thought I'd enjoy a job in manufacturing. She showed me a manufacturing job at an HVAC place near me (she's toured the plant for business) and thought I'd be ideal, although one of the requirements is being able to regularly lift thirty pounds and occasionally seventy-five pounds. I reminded her that I'm not able to lift that kind of weight with my shoulder problem.

                        She's pissing me off.

She's going to go and stay at her mom's in Chicago tomorrow night, leaving the cat at home, natch.

                        Thanks for letting me vent.

Pauly, flag her post and put her on "ignore". Ask that she be banned, too. The worst thing a body can do is respond to trolls, that's what they enjoy- seeing any reaction to their crap. Imagine if nobody at all responded to her...she'd give up and go bother some other forum. You know she's drunk and looking to stir things up.

Liz, our weather is going to be beastly this week again...I am sort of relieved! I was afraid we were being catapulted into an early fall/winter.

SKendall, it does sound as if Peggy is improving. I will keep my fingers crossed and continue to send prayers her way.

Nora, I guess I'll bust out the wii, LOL. I haven't watched the tv in my room since I got her over two months ago...I've been using it as my swimming towel hanger. :happy2:

Thinking of my children and my family is what always helped me to decide not to do it. Even when I get depressed now...and those thoughts creep in....I just remind myself how selfish suicide is...and over the years I've found it always gets better....if we can just hold on.
