Morning to all Undies and Ovaries (waving).
It does indeed feel good to be coming out of hibernation.
Glad you had a good father's day, Reg, even if just to stock up the OS boxers drawer.
I had the crew here, ever expanding due to the acquisition of girlfriends (and a few losses)
Anyway, off and into it.
Go well, Undies. If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Good to hear you sounding so good Reggie!!
Glassy, when are you going to tell us about that next planned adventure?? In addition to Rags, my brother also went to Alaska this year; and some other friends went to Iceland - they both looked beautiful although I'm normally a warm-weather person myself.
Bridge - when I was on holiday I read (for the first time) To Kill a Mockingbird and it had me gripped. I also read To Set a Watchman but wasn't so keen on that. After reading them both, and all the reviews, I came to the conclusion that you have to be an American to understand the controversy around the second one.
Day 11 of my flu here. I am so sick of it :-( I'm over the worst of it, but just can't shift it from my lungs. Inhaling industrial strength eucalyptus oil, but half an hour later I'm all gummed up again.
New job starts tomorrow - am looking forward to being paid again as we have been on bread and water rations for the last 3 weeks!!Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Hi beauties. Best of luck with your new job Missy. Feel better soon. Well, finally on the peninsula and heading into the city. We are going to Fog City Diner (my fav) for raw bar and lobster salad. I'm thinking I may well lose weight in China. I am not a huge fan of the fried silk worm. Love you!
Great to see the nurse posting.Outside of a dog a book is mans best friend. Inside of a dog its too dark to read

Aahhhh, Techie ... you're such a tease! I throb throb throb seafood and looking at Scoma's menu made me positively drool.
Found this a very interesting statement at the bottom of the menu:
"california is experiencing a major drought - please help us conserve - water is served upon request - thank you"

Arvo undies!
I'm back from my first day at work ...... sooooo much paper work to fill in and until it is all processed I can't get an access card or computer.
I think I am going to be very happy in this job. I have only one research project to focus on (although it is only part time so I'm probably going to take on some other small pieces of work). The team I'm in has a reputation of being a nice place to work; and it is housed in a building that is less than a year old, so it has lots of natural lighting, fittings that actually work, and no dust from ageing and falling apart bricks and mortar! And really really interesting people to work with. I feel really like I'm getting a second chance at the dream job stuff!!Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn
