So wonderful you like your new gig Missy. Tawny and Happs, Californis is in an extreme-severe drought situation. The science and research cannot determine if it's a five year, a decade, or perhaps a century long drought. Very frightening. We dug up our lawn and planted wooly thyme as ground cover to save water. It does well in drought. I also capture grey & black water and use applicably. I installed new (albeit expensive) new toilets, as well as instant hot water in an attempt to save wherever I can. Since it is an El NiƱo year, I am hopeful we'll get some rain and an adequate snowpack in the Sierras.

Will post from China. Bye you beautiful Undies!

Ok one last post from mainland U.S. Going to The Stinking Rose. Fun, but certainly an intestinal challenge. Have not been there in fifteen years. Love you!

Hope things were as positive for you today Missy!

Things were even better today Techie ....... it's a new building, and the floor I am on has only recently been completed, with the move-in happening only a few weeks ago. But no-one seems to have handed over the keys for the offices, apart from one person who has a master key!! The doors are supposed to have been left open in the interim but an overzealous cleaner locked them up last night ...... and the one person with the one master key is interstate!!! So I'm sitting at home in the sun .... doing what I can do, but that amounts to not much more than answering emails :-)

Techie - have a great time on your trip!!!

Wow Techie - a whole restaurant celebrating the mighty garlic bulb. Fantastic. Safe travels, have a wonderful time and try to check in when you can.

Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

Hey Undies - I didn't light the fire until 4pm today. Maybe spring is really starting to spring?

                            Yeah too right Frog.

A corker here today, although I didn't see much of it. After being on the blower since 5 this morning with Liz and Kendall from the weather bureau who wanted to discuss strike strategies regarding a current pay dispute, I was off to Sydney to go into bat for Oz national womens soccer team the Matilda's who are also in negotiations for a pay rise. The girls' position is they would be happy with an increase to at least the minimum wage for a soccer player. They are currently grossly underpaid and the F.F.A. knows it. Anyway, I then spent a pleasant arvo with Forward Larissa Crummer and Defender Laura Alleway on the pitch doing some light zig zag stress buster drills with the cones. We are back at the negotiating table next week, so apologies in advance if there's no footy or weather ever again from that point on. Ooroo.

Indeed, it's not like they've ALL got fat arses either. Laura and Larissa are passionate about human rights too. The conversation today out on the pitch soon turned from The Waterside workers strike of '98 to asylum seekers. Don't be surprised if you hear of a few of the Matilda's taking the round ball into refugee camps soon for a kick and a cuppa.

Yeah, g'day Grinder. And would that extend to hair enhancements?
