            Quick fly-by Undies.
Spring is a joy, is it not?
Must admit I have avoided the news over the last week because it has become so incredibly evil. I'm pretty sure I'm not over-stating it.
I suppose we can only do as much as we can for various causes and above all, strive to do no harm, to ourselves and others.
Just reflecting, and off to bed (God forbid, it is 9pm!)

              Morning all, g'day Jonesy.

Yeah too right. Commercial network news sure has a fear centered and divisive agenda. The good news stories in reality outweigh the bad. War and weapons manufacture/sales is worth billions to all sides. The sooner we move to alternative, cheap clean energy sources the better. We will be forced to one day, but look at the damage we are causing in the interim. People on the whole want to live in peace and harmony. I don't believe being at war or in conflict is our natural state. It is a consequence of greed, fear and ego.

Aside from that, have a rippa week everyone.

                Morning G and gang,

We're expecting 27C today - can you believe it? Bliss. And last night was the first night without a fire. I'm almost beside myself. Almost.

Have a wonderful, productive week and make somebody laugh.

Glad you're feeling a bit warmer Tawny! It's been lovely here for the last couple of days here as well - I even ventured out in shorts yesterday (mind you that was after a morning in the bathroom with the Nair bottle). I've been trying to get more walking in but my knee is playing up. So I've been spending a bit of time on the stationary bike - trying to get fit enough to drag the real one out again!

Angel, how did you go at the bridal expo????

This lovely lady took a group of us on a nature walk, and a tour of
Robert Service's hut (the AB Patterson of the Yukon). She's standing above where the Klondike and Yukon rivers merge .

The White Pass train trip at Skagway.... The RCMP had a base at the top of the pass and turned back
those goldrush men who had insufficient supplies to get them thropugh the winter.

Dawson City about ten thirty at night.
Note unpaved streets because of permafrost.

Dawson City... note the house has no pylons going into the ground, it's sitting on a framework so that it
wont get damaged by permafrost meltin from heat transfer from the building.

Confluence of Yukon and Klondike rivers. The river flows at a terrific pace. I'd hate to fall in. Crossing on the punt was a bit of exitement.

Jumping right down to Hope. A lovely little hamlet consisting a pub, two cafes, a post office and a couple of gift shops (which were rubbish).
