Fen - Sorry that you are going thru this. Do you do anything with your sister wives over the weekend or do they do their own thing? How come Mrs Fen kept the house if she travels all the time? Seems like you should be the one to keep the house?

Hey Pauly - I know those feelings! Uuugggghhhhhh Hate those feelings of being scared that I'm going to. Makes me more nervous. I'm not planning on drinking but then I get random thoughts. Sorry you are going thru this.

My sister wives are sedentary people. Barb used to canoe and hike with me, but she's put on so much weight over the years, she really can't keep up with me. She's now going to the gym and has lost 25 lbs., but she still sees exercise as the enemy. I really should join a hiking meet up group, but a) I'm shy and b) I really don't like crowds. All I need or would like is one or two other people to hike with. I can do it on my own, I guess. I wish I had a friend who was into it, though.
As for the condo...to be honest, I'm glad I'm out of it. I never really got used to the place. The whole move was so traumatic, with Mrs. Fen being gone all the time- I actually packed up the house (except for her desk) alone. She was away on business when we moved. The poor cat was becoming more and more stressed as the house slowly disappeared into boxes around her every day. I can't begin to describe how awful the move was. I liked the way the condo was laid out, but now I'm glad I'm not there.
Everything will work out okay. I bet I can make a friend who is into hiking. : )

Hello Friends,
I just got home from a fabulous day at the Botanical Gardens, lunch and a trip to Home Goods! The weather held out, I enjoyed my friends immensely and it was just a fantastic day! :-)
Pauly-HUGS-I hope you are feeling better. I know you're off on Fridays and that has been a trigger for you in the past. Please check in and let us know what's going on with you.
Fenny, no, I am not married. I have never been married and I have no kids. I have dated A LOT (well, probably not as much as Dottie:happy2: ;-0) ) and I just never found the right guy. I've been in love three times...never lived with any of them...but backed out before they could propose, and I am SO glad. I am very fortunate because I am comfortable in my own skin, love my bachelorette (as my mom calls it) lifestyle, and have a life that is very fulfilling. The only times I've missed dating someone was when I was in Paris and Barcelona. I went to those places for work, but took a few days off to do some sightseeing...and it would have been nice to share those beautiful cities with someone special. I am also lucky because my mom, sister, and two brothers and I are REALLY close. I own a successful business, have a great group of friends, the best family ever, and frankly, I have no interest in dating. Wow, now that was a VERY Long answer to your very Short question. Hahahaha. Believe me, Fenny, new clients ask me ALL the time why I've never been married. I knew when I was 19 that I never wanted kids, and when I dated in my 20s, it was a real turn-off for a lot of guys. Now, as far as not dating at this point, I do not want the drama of dealing with some guy's adult children. (No offense to FT, ABC and other great guys who pop in here) The last relationship I was in was with a man who had 5 adult children. Never again!!! Dottie, you seem to be lucky in that way with the men you are seeing...they don't seem to drag you into their kids' lives...good for you and I hope it lasts. :-)
Liz-I'm with Fen. Fragile woman at work must retire.
Nora-I've been following the wildfires in CA....how awful!! You will be in my step next week because it's back to work for me!
Mama-come out, come out. :-)
Fenny-to answer your question-weekend plans??? Exercising, swimming in the pool, and Notre Dame and Packers football. What about you?
Ok, kids, I am off to the gym. I hope everyone is having a peaceful Friday evening!

Awesome post Rusty. I am home and eating chicken noodle soup and trying to wind down. Today was filled with drama and I am over it. Employee issues....nothing serious.
I cannot imagine dating.....being nekkid in front of some one other than hubs terrifies me. If I lost Bret tomorrow, I suppose I may have to venture out...
I LOVE gardens and I am glad you got to see them Rusty!
I am going to take my meds and pass out.
I will talk to you all tomorrow. And I am not drinking. It's been hard trying to mod, but I am ok so far,
I love you allI love my family more than alcohol.:h
Live in the Solution....not the problem

Hi everyone. Fen, I would hike with you.
Since stopping a good medication but with the side effect of ferocious hunger I have dropped 25 lbs. back to my normal weight. And then.....I discovered Magnum Ice Cream double caramel bars. I was shattered earlier when I went to the freezer and there were none - so I stocked up.
I have to seriously calorie count so I can enjoy them.
Rusty, I echo everything you have said about dating. No thanks. There is a fellow at the dog park who has asked me out 4 times and now he's given up, but we still chat.
Had a coffee date this a.m. and watched some tennis. Bought a new computer table w/o any marks for $12.00 @Goodwill, I'm tired of waiting for my half of the furniture. Lowered the price of the house another $20K. No comment. Sell the damn thing already.
Pretty good day.
Peggy is now prancing, running and barking yeah!!Enlightened by MWO
