Hey all,hope everyone is having a nice Sunday,lazy day for us,groceries done,laundry can wait and I'll wait to clean til Louie leaves cuz its frustrating to have things cleaned and he's right behind me messing it up haha,hubs got a desert tortoise from his friend who breeds them,its a few years old so.iit's kinda big cute though I hope Winslow leaves it alone! Dottie - like you said, there are plenty of fish in the sea. If Jerry is so controlling, major pain in the butt at this very early stage of dating, imagine how it will be in 6 months/1 year.

Pauly - does Louie love the tortoise? We had one so many years ago but somehow it got out of our yard or someone went in and took him. Glad that you are having a lazy day too. Whew, I know I needed it.

Hello everyone.
Before I forget I want to commend Rusty on her posts. ALWAYS thoughtful, caring, interested in each member and positive. A wonderful quality in my opinion.
I was thinking this morning about personal contentment and how abundant it is in sobriety. My last moment was not a big achievement, but at 4:00 a.m. this morning I had walked Peggy in my robe and pj's and when I got back I was a little cold and got back into bed the sheets were still warm and Peggy snuggled up. Aah!
There are 3 showings on the house this w/end and we have just reduced the price $20K, so fingers crossed.....
Had the cable tech here yesterday to fix the constant tiling of my picture, he said it was a broken connection and fixed it. I always record CBS This Morning and when I went to watch it the remote didn't work and there was tiling for most of the recording. I need to go ROKU. I have the device, just need a cable.

Yes Jerry is controlling and he just doesn't see it...this will be the third time I have broken it off....wouldn't you think I would have learned by now???? I know it was rebound from some failed first meets...I have to remember that when one or two fall off the truck there are so many more to take their place.... dont have to settle for anything...sighComment

Date night was fun. We ended up at the Moose Lodge where Bret is a member and it was 80's night, so we danced and danced and had drinks. It was fun! I needed it.I love my family more than alcohol.:h

Dot's I agree, that's one reason I am basically off the market rest of this year after NY relationship, I am now in no rush to "find" someone as I will just let it happen when it happens.
Playing solo checkers will have to do for now.
Mama glad yous guys had a good evening.
FTAF with a few speed bumps during 2014 & 2015 but will succeed.
