I agree Fen,so many times on " intervention"you'll see them check in on the person and they seem great while still in rehab then the update will tell of a relapse when they get back into their old life I like the episodes where they stay quit,one lady on there went on to be an addiction counselor and she was a bad drunk on the show! Good for her but like you said we have to want it,yeah it should have been a red flag when exmMrs Fen skipped the classes,oh well hindsight

Well, I know what to look out for in the future if I should ever be so stupid to date again. I can see myself becoming one of those crazy cat ladies, you know?

Go to Beauty School Fen haha,I plan on working until the day I die,that's why I want togo to school for ssomething else,can't cut hair forever but I will work at something, I observe elderly customers and the ones that are able to work still have a zest for life,the others seem to be just living, I dunno

Another hot one here. Some areas are getting rain which is causing flash floods. Other areas are having brush fires from the sparks created by the lightening. Where we are, it's just hot! Sounds like the weather is bad in some of your areas, also.

So, I've been having really painful knees, lower legs & feet. Burning and aching. I've had this happen before but it's never been this bad and never has lasted for more than a day. Anyway, they were hurting & bothering me so much today at work that I decided to go get a massage. I didn't want to get out in traffic and drive far so I went to a little place in a strip mall down the street. I walked in and there was this strange waiting room and then a glass window. Very odd - all of a sudden the outer door opens behind me and there is this woman. She asked if she could help me. I said do you give full body massages here? She said yes. So, I said ok. She said - you have to make an appointment. Oh - ok??? I asked when does she have something available and she said 'you call back tomorrow'. Ok - as I'm trying to get out of there. Then she walks into the doorway of the office/store right next door - with darkened windows (1 Way Window???). So, I finally figured out that the kind of massage they were offering was not the kind of massage that I wanted. :rotlf: I will be sticking with Bob, just like Mama. And, I'll find a different massage place tomorrow.

Ewww,a "Rub and Tug?"!!! Sorry Nora there's an Asian place that does"massage" a few doors down from my shop,I'm pretty sure its one of these places too,I went in there once when I was drunk to check prices and it had privacy curtains up looked weird,had the strangest sleep last night feel odd this morning, hope it passes,much love to all

Morning all,
Going to visit my dad later, Costco then Kroger. Going to a group dance lesson tonight.
Had a nice dinner with another new fellow last night after my dance lesson. These older men really crack me up. They are my age but the way they go on about kids and grand kids just seems so weird. I am not old enough to date men who have grand kids...LOL....Paul is still around and I know he is having some serious feelings for me and I dont want to hurt him. I like being with him but he doesn't make my toes curl....sigh.....
I am also surprised at the fact that most of these men dont drink....have we all come to realize it was killing us???? Very interesting ....

Just one of those days we all have, chilled and my son got me to watch "Walking Dead" series on Netflix so now I am hooked. It was a nice evening for father and son to hang out and I am much better now.
Yes all these beautiful women what a lucky guy I truly am to have you all as friends.
Did my walk yesterday 3 miles and only 1 1/2 today but makes me fell better and helps with clearing the old noggin.
Now just to find a new checkers partner...:applouse:

Met new guy Mike for lunch. He was on my side of town and I just happened to be finished with my errands so we met and talked. He seems nice enough to keep seeing. Also got a text from biker guy Skip...like him too....I dont have to choose if I dont want to.....so far that is it for the week...there could be more if the guys asked.....NOT playing checkers with them all...I am particular...and cautious...but they have potential....I am crazy i think....
