Rusty, glad you had a wonderful time at the gardens. You seem very content with your life and I'm happy that you're happy.
Skendall so glad Peggy is feeling better! That was a long time! Hopefully the house will sell now.
Mama,so happy you are celebrating 14 years cancer free. I hope you can do something fun this weekend! Sorry moderating is hard, but I guess we are all struggling.
Pauly sending hugs your way. I was right where you are just a week ago. Pick yourself up and keeping going.
Fen, not a clue what I'm doing this weekend, which is not a good thing for me. Hoping for a pool day but the weather looks questionable. I will run on the treadmill and walk Lucy. Oh yeah and then there's laundry to do.
Anyway off to finishing watching James Bond movie, hubby is finished fixing the tv outlet.
Sweet dreams.

thanks everyone!!
I am so glad Peggy is better SK.
Fenny - I have been thinking about you and your kitty. I have had about five friends have to put down their furbabies lately....so sad.
Laundry is done and college football is on, so it's a good day. Plus it's pouring rain, and I love that sound.
Off to Orlando for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Awesome job on the 25 pound weight loss, SK. I could stand to lose a few pounds. Travelling does not help in that area, I can promise!
We have a hearing about our foreclosure in a few weeks.....we shall see.....
Happy Saturday to all. We are going someplace CHEAP for date night :-)I love my family more than alcohol.:h
Live in the Solution....not the problem

Evening all,
Too quiet here and yes I am guilty of that too.
Long day. Had a date with new fellow Will. We went to eat then walk at the part and talked. He is nice and I will see him again.
Event at church tomorrow which will make it a long day. Paul wants to see me after. I really like him but I think he is getting more serious than I am. I am going to talk to him tomorrow.
Need sleep...zzzzzzzzz

I don't want to mislead anyone with my weight loss. I was on the normal to low side and because of anxiety the doctor in Canada who was South African prescribed me mirtazapine. I mention locations and citizenships, only because it is prescribed differently. It was a good drug but my appetite went from manageable to ferociously unmanageable.
Because it is taken at night the night time eating got crazy. Who wants to do a sensible stir fry or make a salad at that time, so I ate anything I could get my hands on quickly. I used to eat ice cream and cookies rarely, but a full pkg of cookies was now a nibble for me. I also became very, very aware of my increased libido.
When I came back to the states and saw a doctor to refill it, he explained it was mainly prescribed for seniors with no appetite. So in the six months I was on it my normally low blood pressure sky rocketed. The dr. gave me b.p. meds, but I told her it was the weight. They prescribed Lexapro and without the voracious appetite my weight went back to normal - minus the 25 lbs. I had gained.
In the meantime, I learned that many drs in the UK, Australia, South Africa and Canada used it more frequently. Miss the libido thingy, but saving on batteries, there really is no substitute for that feeling and I was unsure of how to reply without TMI - but we got there and then some. I'll delete this sometime later.Enlightened by MWO

Good weekend so far. Flea market today with Mark and Erin. Successful trip, gotta love a bargain. Got these really cool bookends for Mark that we can polish and fix up. Yup a fun project. Then ran over to pier one imports where the clearance prices were amazing! Ran and did some laundry and started planning our next get away:welldone: I managed to keep very busy. Hope you're all doing ok.

SKendall, my mom is on mirtazapine for her appetite, but it's also an anti-depressant, right? I wish you were here to hike! Looks like we are in the same place relationship wise. Where are you located? Also, I'm so glad that Peggy is doing well. : )
Liz, sounds like you are having a good weekend. : )
Dottie, I agree about Paul. If you don't feel the same way, it's best to cut him loose. That's the down side of dating.

I had a great day. I rolled out of bed fairly early and went to my old neighborhood and had breakfast at a coffee shop near to where I lived. Then, I went to Lake Monona and walked all around the neighborhood. I went shopping but didn't find any bargains. I hit some interesting garage sales and visited mom and her cat.
I felt really happy and for the first time, I realized how free I am. I didn't have to have lunch at x o'clock, just because it was lunch time. I went to garage sales, which Mrs. Fen hated. I don't have to make any concessions for anybody right now. Plus, I actually felt I looked good today, which never happens.

Good Morning Steppers,
FT-GREAT to see you here! I am glad you had the weekend off! :-)
Liz-sounds like you had a nice day with your family yesterday. Is Mark warming up to you now? I love Pier 1.
Mama-enjoy your Sunday before you take off AGAIN to Orlando.
Lake path walk, gym, and getting taxes together for my accountant are on the agenda today, along with Packers-Bears football.
Big hellos to everyone else...have a happy Sunday!

Good morning.
Rusty, your day sounds like fun, minus, the tax stuff. Yes things are fine with Mark thanks for asking. As long as I'm not drinking he's happy with me. It pains me greatly to see the look on his face when I drank. That's a very strong incentive not to.
Anyway, are you a football fan? I love football season and in opinion there's nothing more fun to do on a Sunday then watch! Erin is a devote Patriot fan, so naturally I have followed.
We do favor the Jets as well, though they aren't doing well.
Off to get ready for church. Have a good one!

Liz-I used to be a diehard Patriots' fan because my mom's side of the family is from Maine, and I interviewed Russ Francis of the Patriots when I was 22 years old. I had such a crush on him. Sadly, he has messed up his life big time...but manages to land on his feet every time. Sorry to say, I can't stomach Tom Brady. I am glad things are better with Mark. Was he ok with you having a glass of wine on the cruise or is it just when you overdo it? Oh how I know the look of a disappointed face...I don't have kids but I remember the look on my niece's face when I showed up for a family event, wasted on vodka (and I had driven over an hour to get there...this is why I KNOW there is a God. I could have numerous DUIs or killed somebody because I drank and drove, but I am still here! :-) )
