One Step at a Time - September 2015

My sister wife bailed on the hike today, so I went to my old house (ex Mrs. Fen on the road again) and picked up more sweaters, socks, down comforter. She'd set out the cat's electric blanket for me, thinking it was a full size one, but it's just a throw, so I can't use it here. I guess I'll have to go to the cabin and fetch the full sized one from the bed there. Along with the space heater I thought I'd transported home weeks ago. : ( I might as well turn up the baseboard heating while I'm there. I am still hopeful that somebody might purchase the place before the snow flies. If it gets wintry, I'll simply turn off the well and septic pumps and drain the hot water heater tank and house lines. The sooner that place sells, the sooner I get my own place. I don't want to pay to have the drive way plowed this winter...nobody buys land in the winter.

Anyway, I am slowly disappearing from our old (new) place. I don't know what ex Mrs. Fen will do when all my stuff is out of there...90% of the books are mine.

I know Fen. A lot of my stuff is in the house. His girlfriend stole my evening clothes (including my M.O.B.) dress ffs! He claims she didn't, but at one time when we used to be friends, she borrowed a lot from me.

Fen, I am emotionally finished with him, but he spent our 401K on her. She always had a sense of entitlement and was spendy. The $$$ is what really bites my butt. We are still not divorced b/c it takes money to do so and he doesn't want it (?). I need legal advice on the #of American Express and Visa purchases were for her. In WA state it's 50/50, just need to talk to a lawyer next week to know for sure. I would have to prove it wasn't me he was spending the $$ on.

I would love a meet-up if you're ever up here.

Pauly, have you ever seen an allergist. Vegas is an allergy-laden spot and you seem to be a mega sufferer.

I hope that everyone is having a good weekend. Doing ok here. I am planning on sitting down this afternoon and work on my One Step journal. Different quotes, links, chats, etc, that hit home when I read them.
I need to work on that because my mind has become..........restless??? I don't know how to put it but it is when the darkness starts coming in....stress, anxiety, depression. I'm still doing ok but I know it will be helpful to work on my journal.

Hubby & I have been spending a lot of time together. It has been nice. Amazing how much time you can spend with someone when you're not hiding out trying to sneak drinks.

Mama wanted me to let everyone know that they are with Nana. Nana had a major anxiety attack. They are with her now trying to calm her down. I'll let you know if I get any updates.

Fen, I went hiking today. I'm exhausted! It was fun. Spending the rest of my day watching football. I know you guys aren't a fan of Tom Brady, but in his defense if you read up on it, there were no texts, just saying. Anyway, going to watch the Giants in a bit. Actually drove by Eli Mannings house today on our way back from hiking.

SKendall, I really hope you will look into hub's spending your 401 K. Plus, if you're still legally married, you will be held accountable for debts he's undoubtedly racking up with his new squeeze. I would think it would be fairly simple to prove he wasn't spending money on you, considering that he's involved with another woman and you're out of the house.

Your M.O.B. dress...really?! That's pretty danged low.

I predict that once this bimbo has drained hubs of all his money, she'll move along to the next swain/sucker and he'll beg for you to come back.

Liz, do you live near a state park? Now I wish that I'd gone hiking yesterday! Maybe I can sneak away tomorrow and go.

I don't want to step on your toes about Tom Brady, but I was referring to the texts between the locker room attendant and the equipment manager- those were pretty revealing. Of course, since Brady refused to hand over his phone, none of his texts were scrutinized.

Honestly, I think most sports are "dirty" these days. Serena Williams looks like she's mainlining testosterone and when drug testers showed up at her crib to test her, she ran into her panic room and called 911! No woman naturally has muscles like that.

Maybe Nana's thyroid levels should be checked. So odd that someone should suddenly start experiencing panic attacks at this stage in life. Nora, please tell mama I'm thinking of her.

Morning all
Gym later then a first meet with a new fellow.
Paul and I had a nice talk last night and he will slow down. He understands my issues. Wish he had a better job....but I respect what he did so that makes it even harder.
Liz I live in Cincinnati so I follow the Bengals.
