Rusty, have a wonderful time. I happen to love D.C. Seeing you nephew will be fun. It's actually Erin and Dan that are in London. She sent me a text and she is so happy, having a lovely time!
Fen, that's a lot of weight to loose, but sweaters should be loose anyway. At least that's the way I like them. There's a lot of good sales going on out there. If I were closer I'd take you shopping.
Nora I got 3 new books to read! I sadly found a new game to play on my IPad so the books are just sitting there. We are going on a cruise in a few weeks, perhaps I shall read them then.
Supposed to have a car wash today at church but it is drizzling. Later today a roofer is coming to give us an estimate on a new roof, ouch! But it needs to be done.

Cheers from the friendly skies!!! On the plane and should be doing paperwork, alas, I know you guys are a lot more fun!!!

Liz-oh, ok, Erin and Dan. Sorry I got that wrong. You're going on another cruise???? AWESOME!!! Where are you going? A new roof....ouch, ouch, ouch.

Nora-I talked to my Mom this morning and she sounds better. Fenny was right...after consulting with my ER nurse cousin, she confirmed what Fen had said...at 88, my mom's skin is SO thin (it's kind of waxy looking now) that combined with the strong adhesive, is the reason she got those burns. My cousin told me yes, mom probably had an allergic reaction to the adhesive.

Skendall, how are you, woman? I owe you a PM. I miss our chats.

Hi to FT....um, so glad you offer a guy's honest point of view to our thread. We need that.

Well, I SHOULD do some work so signing off for now but I will be back. :-)

          Morning all
Crazy weekend so far. Yesterday met a new fellow for lunch, Anthony. Very nice and a few years younger. Down side he is looking for a job. He is smart so I dont think it will take long. And he has 2 dogs so being a dog lover he gets extra points.
Dinner with Greg and talked a lot. He is divorced and a few years older.
Today I am meeting yet another new guy Jon. He is a widower. Goes to the rec center where I used to work out. He knows my trainer friend and she knows him. She told me about him when his wife died and I wanted her to introduce us but we were never there at the same time. He is a lawyer and seems very nice. Short but nice...I wont wear heels....profile picture he is not too bad looking. He has cats so animal lover here too.
Tonight Paul is coming over and making dinner then we are staying in I guess. He is another one with money issues but he is a widower so gets points for that and he likes my dogs..
Tomorrow maybe Mike after the train meeting....yes I need to create a spreadsheet....LOL
          Have a good one!!

                Hi, Sunbird...
Tawny is in the "Undies" thread, usually. Tabbers posts in the Army thread, I think...Rubywillow got chased off by bullies years ago.

Liz, I wish you were around to take me shopping! I need a new look. I'm usually dressed like a seventeen year old boy and I need to change that.

Rusty, I hope you have a great time!

Dottie, it seems like you and Paul are getting pretty cozy...:heartbeat:

I went to a coffee house I'd never been to before for breakfast. It was too cramped and noisy for moi. The kicker was when a young hipster arrived with his guitar/harmonica set up, along with a speaker! This old gal was out of there, pronto!

                            Hi Sunbird!
Rusty - you are right, as usual. I have not heard from the other group probably b/c of the money I told them I needed. And I really care about the people I work with, so I don't fell so conflicted now. I'll just keep working my butt off. Orlando next week and Atlanta the next.
Fenny - I just got my hair cut and colored.
Liz - the water damage is fixed, but the oak floors are not. We have a court hearing Monday about the house, so if we can't come to reasonable terms, the bank can have the house back with the floors tirn up.
I would LOVE to go to London AND DC. I have never been there.
My hubs has been sweet lately, so I wont complain...for now!
Gonna rest a bit and have date night.
Yes, Dots....spreadsheets are in order.....Fenny - the kitty is a cutie!
I love my family more than alcohol.:h
Live in the Solution....not the problem

Back home. Have so much to do and I'm just sitting here. LOL Oh well - that's the way it is.
I was listening to the lyrics of the song 'Sober' today. Good song. Fen is the one that turned me on to that song.

I don't wanna be the girl that has to fill the silence
The quiet scares me 'cause it screams the truth
Please don't tell me that we had that conversation
Cause I won't remember, save your breath, 'cause what's the use?

                              Ah, the night is calling?
And it whispers to me softly come and play
                              But I, I am falling
And If I let myself go I'm the only one to blame

Mama - I'm glad that you don't feel so conflicted. I've been worried about you but you do sound better. Are you going to court tomorrow or just your lawyer?
Have a great time on date night.
