Hey all,Dots I'm with Fen,go younger if hubs and I ever split,I'd totally be a cougar besides guys my age look old to me haha,Mama,so sorry about Nana,when my in laws were in a nursing home back in our home town,they were soooo sedated and in wheelchairs when we visited,after grampa died and gramma was in the nursing home here,she was sharp as a tack again....for awhile anyways,Liz,sorry about your aunt just be there for your mom if she needs to cry,hello to all,off to get ready,let's have a nice Wednesday

Morning all,
Yes younger would be preferable and I did date a fellow in his mid 50's and he had medical issues too. Jon is nice and is 7 months younger....and we seem to be good together...no checkers just getting to know each other..he is not pushy. He hasn't dated much since his wife died so we are taking it slowly.
Gym then I will see him later.

Mama, I'm so sorry about Nana, that must be sooo hard to listen to her unhappiness. I've heard valium is used now to "quiet" folks in nursing homes.

I can't even get a benzo for GAD here, lol.

I have a bit of a dilemma. Woke up this a.m. convinced it was Sunday and went to watch my recorded Sat eve shows - there were none. Still convinced it was Sunday, checked websites, etc. Checked my calendar and it showed Wednesday. Should have done that first thing. I'm a little concerned as I had a brain bleed 3 yrs ago. I would have to drive 25 miles alone in a banged up car with no tail or signal lights and my x-rays showed deteriorating scoliosis in my neck, which I am sure is the arthritis.

Typing slow here. Think I'll just lay low today and and regroup,

SKendall, I'm confused...does this mean that you went to the dr. today and they x-rayed you? Have you been seen by a medical professional today? That's a very concerning symptom. Sometimes for a brief moment upon awakening, I'll think it's a different day or place, but it fades after a couple of seconds. Please post again and clarify...

Wow...lots of great posts here but sad news about some of our Steppers. I leave for a couple of days and people are getting hurt, relatives are passing away and exes get new GFs before the ink is dry on the divorce papers.

Skendall-please get yourself checked out! I was confused, too...you drove 25 miles without tail lights, and you couldn't remember what day it was...do you have a concussion?? Please check back in and let us know. We care about you here.

Liz-so sorry to hear about your aunt's sudden passing. So glad you are there for your Mom. She needs you, I am sure.

Slept in a bit this morning. I am off today. I'm getting my hair cut later today, coloring will likely happen this weekend (I do it myself). I will run and then spend some time with mom.
She is very stoic strong woman, but she told my sister that this really took her for a loop. I wanna be like my mom when I grow up!
