It's the same type of job now, just another company. We have "courting" for 6 weeks now, but he actually made an offer when I texted him on Monday and told him I had finally given notice. We are meeting for coffee next Friday. Hubs feels very confident, but my confidence has been bashed, and I feel very unsure and don't trust anyone right now.
I am on eternal hold with the Unemployment Office...I am filing as deserve it and to piss off NB!!
You should be proud that I am up being productive.
Nora - good luck next week....My thoughts will be with you and Casey. Your mom is coming back home with you, right? Sorry - I have such an insane 7 months that I don't remember!
I have anti anxiety mends to, and I am glad right now!
Hugs to my possee!!! Your kindness and support mean more than you every know.
Fen - Hubs said he had a dream that we met Brenda (ex-boss) and Dale (her husband and our personal friend for over 30 years) and Dale lowered his head and scooted by, but hubs looked at Brenda and said "You know, karma can sometimes appear in the middle of the night. It can weigh about 220 pounds and do very bad things"!
We would never do anything, but it sure is fun to think about.

Mama, I just wanted to drop by and say how sorry I am about what happened with your job. I know it's a horrible feeling when something like that happens, but your boss was expecting far too much of you and I really think you will be happier working elsewhere in the long run. I hope you find something more suitable soon.

Nora, I hope Casey's court case goes as well as possible next week and also that everything works out for you all when your mum comes to stay.

Liz - happy birthday! :happy2: Enjoy your vacation.

And a big hello to everyone else! :happy2:

Nora, do anything it takes to protect your quit. Hold your breath for 4 seconds then slowly blow it out. Practice this several times.

Mama I love Brett's dream, lol. Just enjoy a couple of days relaxing and try breathing like Nora, lol. Seriously, I do this a lot and my bp is 116/70 w/o meds.

Yesterday was a terrible day. Iwent to doc or nurse/prac here and I was describing my head symptoms to her and she said well, we'll just reduce your Lexapro? My depression has been worse and I said "have you listened to anything I've said" I was disgusted and never cry but had a melt down in the parking lot.

I told the ins co I would NOT be accepting their low offer and her supervisor told me it wouldn't go any higher.

Now, can someone help me find the plunger for my coffee press?

Likewise SK. Sorry to hear about your divorce and car troubles. It sounds as though you have been having a rough old time of things lately.

Beloved Mr. Bear!!! You have made my day.
SK - I am so sorry for all the mess you are going through...know that I am right beside you sister.
I took a shower, did some laundry, applied for some jobs and that's all the energy I have for now.
The support I have gotten from my peers in the industry here in Jacksonville has been amazing, as well.
Evidently my ex-boss was not well thought of.....news to me.....until now.
Things will get better for all of us...they always do AND I AM NOT DRIKNING......so I guess I'll take that!!

Mama - FANTASTIC that you are not drinking. Amazing that your ex- boss is not well thought of. Explains why she ran you ragged. BITCH!

Dottie - are you having another alone day/night? I love the smell of coffee but do not like the taste. Isn't that sad? LOL

                        Good Afternoon,

Looks like I have missed a lot!

Mama-I am here for you any time you want to talk or bounce ideas off me...and you have my cell # so you can call anytime!! Crying jags are perfectly normal, and you are one tough lady!! Brava, dear friend! (of course, you're beautiful too, inside and out!)

Regarding the PM that Skendall sent Dottie: Here are my thoughts: PM stands for PRIVATE Message. That means the person who is contacting you does not want to make a public issue out of the reason he/she is contacting you. In my opinion, that's the classy way to confront someone if you have an issue with him/her or you just want to share information, thoughts, support, in a private fashion so as not to upset/distract/involve other members. To me, this also means, that the person receiving the PM will respond privately...in an equally classy manner. Skendall had concerns about Dottie's posts and she confronted Dottie privately. Dottie, I know you are upset about Skendall's PM but you might have considered responding to her in a PM, since that's where the conversation was contained. She never attacked you publicly on this thread.

There used to be someone on this thread who frequently repeated things that were discussed in PMs. It was a showstopper for me. It kept me away from this thread for a long time because it was unacceptable behavior to me. IF I do repeat something on a thread that was told to me in a PM, it is with that person's approval. Violating confidentiality is a showstopper for me....whether it is a client, friend, or family member. It changes our relationship forever. Loose lips sink ships...

                        Reccie-SOOOO Great to see you!!

Thank you Rusty and well said.

Reccie, could there be a eeny weeny chance you could stop by? How has the dog been? I think you had tried a couple of camping trips, hope they went well. Also, were you planning on building something. Would love to hear about it.

I could do with the fort also Nora.

Mama, it's no surprise to me that you are respected in your community. Wouldn't it be great when applying for a job if we knew what our bosses were like? My daughter works for one of the best 10 companies in the U.S. and they get to review their bosses. The bosses also let you know if there's a problem so you don't continue until review/raise time.

Fen, maybe that fascia would help my wrinkled neck! Not really, I don't need any more discomfort.

In order to repurchase a car I have to go older by 3yrs. plus a drive and ferry to Seattle. Must be done.
