Hi again army thanks for the cake and well wishes. Wasn't expecting that after recent 90 days lol now i'm stuffed I eat enugh chocolate yesterday. Rain has cleared now but its a mix of sun and cloud.

Hi Everyone,

JC, yes it is great to have someone to talk to, although I enjoy talking to you guys as much!

Mad scramble to get to Lusikisiki(near Port St Johns on the wild coast, Transkei…google Port St Johns[PSJ], its quite beautiful!) before nightfall. The road is under construction, so lots of stop-go’s and nasty gravel. Anyway, 5 and a half hours and I got here okay from East London.

The turn off to Lusikisiki is just before PSJ. I hav’nt been here since I was a teenager. Hut before the turnoff, the terrain changes from the rolling hills of the Transkei, into thick tropical jungle, with trees covered in rope-like vines. I believe the bird life is fantastic…but this time I doubt that I will have time to birdwatch!

I’m doing a contract for the UN, putting Family planning systems into Transkei over the next 4 weeks.:thumbsup:
