My nose would be out of joint too JC, Id probably say something in a funny haha way .. gently planting a seed but not to make her feel bad - then leave it at that. It probably didnt enter her head, another wedding fair, doing what she's been doing for all the others.
Weddings are funny things. I wasnt into the fuss and frill, so it was probably the other way around for me.

I've done it twice............first.......... full works, relatives I'd never heard of and a twat of a husband..............lasted 5 years

2nd...........admittedly posh frock, local register office, lovely lunch with people we'd picked...............coming up to 30 years.

You know the best wedding I have ever been to was one where the bride was 8 months pregnant........only 8 of us.........we laughed so hard at the lunch, I thought we'd be having a christening the same day.

Would hate the whole bridezilla thing they have these days.

They don't even resemble themselves when they walk down the aisle.
Lovely touch though at last wedding- inexpensive pumps in the bathroom - for when the high heels come off. I'd brought my own.Not sure WHY we do it ?
